Stayed here with friends whilst visiting nearby Vinneopolis. Working distance from Waterloo. The receptionist on arrival was very friendly and although we were before the correct check in time, allocated our rooms there and then. I had requested a quiet room and we were allocated rooms at the rear of the hotel which were perfect. The rooms are a good... More

We stayed here on Friday 27/4/12, having picked it out as a convenient place to stay as we were visiting the Globe theatre. Our room was at the back and therefore quiet. It was pleasant, clean and comfortable; the bathroom was also clean and provided free toiletries. We had a very satisfactory breakfast ( only available on Friday and Saturday... More

The Mad Hatter Hotel is situated above a Fullers Pub, so you have good beer and good food. The rooms are quite small , but clean and very warm,(we managed to turn off the heating) The bathroom has a bath , a sink and a toilet, the only problem is a bad ventilation, so my sons smell lingers a bit.... Spacious, somewhat underheated (but the warm duvet more than made up for that) and rather quiet (at least from 10 pm to 6 am - outside those times you hear some vague airplane sounds but that did not bother me), this was not a typical London hotel. Comfortable, in an area that looks lively, this was a nice surprise. The... More

My granddaughter and I stayed here for 9 days; I found the hotel on various internet sites and decided to try the Southbank location. The hotel staff was welcoming and attentive; the pub breakfast (included in my room charge) and dinners were very good; and the location worked for us, near both the underground station and the south bank of... Not bad but wouldn't go back. We asked for a quiet room and were given one at the back which avoided traffic noise but unfortunately had a fan of some sort going all night outside. Bathroom in need of upgrade. More

I booked a single room which was compact and comfortable, did it's job for a couple of nights while on business. I certainly would be very happy to book and stay here again. Had heard reviews that noise could be an issue due to location, I didn't hear any noise or have any issues. Food was great value and hearty,... More

What a great place. Booked through Laterooms and £95 for a large good quality room with quality fittings in such a location makes it a snip. The bar is great with good service and great selection of proper beer. I had (for an over-nighter in London) a really good sleep. Breakfast was fine. I stuck to the continental which had... More

I regularly stay at this hotel when in London for business. It's a Fullers hotel, which means that there are Fullers' ales and a fairly standard pub menu in the bar downstairs. The Mad Hatter faces onto Stamford Street on the corner of Blackfriars Bridge and the rooms on the front can suffer from traffic noise at times. All of... More
