We just returned from a 2 night stay at Cartref House. It's location is great, but beware the map on this site is not correct. It is on Ebury street only a block from the Lime Tree and closer to Victoria Station than it appears on the map. The host Derek was very friendly and helpful. We had an early... more

This is a great place in a terrific location, especially for the price. This is a hidden gem! Our hosts were friendly and helpful. Their home is clean and comfortable. Our room had lots of storage for our luggage and was quite roomy. The breakfasts were delicious. The location was amazing. We were within a ten minute walk of Buckingham... more

Cartref House is a well run, friendly B & B in a great location. I had a room on the top floor which was small but very adequate, possibly in need of a little updating and with plumbing that was noisy ( I think there is a power system to flush to toilets on this floor) - but this did... more

I stayed 8 nights while I traipsed around London, mostly on the Tube. I loved that the B&B was near Victoria Station and in Belgravia where I felt very safe as a solo traveler. The staff was super, breakfasts very filling & rooms spotless. I was on the top floor but soon it became too much for me with the... more

Cartref House was near Victoria Station in a safe neighborhood. Breakfast was nice with a special host Derek making everyone comfortable and giving good travel hints. Nearby eateries were especially good. Jenny Lo's, and Thomas Cubitts were fun and a good value while not being cheap! Hotel was Clean, comfortable and quiet. more

Location was in a very upscale and safe area within walking distance to Buckingham Palace. Price is good comapared to others in area. Almost next door is a wine bar with great food. The owner is a funny and personable guy, and wife is nice too. Found it in Rick Steve's. more

I stayed here for one night in September, I was given Room 1 which is a twin room for single occupancy for £69.50 (very cheap for London and it's location) if you were a tourist it's very close to Buckingham Palace and major attractions, Victoria tube station is a 5 minute walk away. The room was spotless and though like... more

Stayed here for 5 nights. The property is very clean and rooms quite lovely for the price. This house is located in Belgravia which is a very nice neighborhood close to Victoria train and coach station. Derek was a perfect host, and the breakfasts were delicious. The house is almost right next door to the Ebury Wine Bar which has... more

I had an excelent stay at the Cartref. It was really hard to find a place to stay in London in a short notice, but thanks to Tripadvisor i was able to find Cartref House. It's affordable, well located (right next to Victoria Coach Station) in a great neighbourhood, clean, confortable, and the staff and owners and really nice. The... more

My niece and I have just returned from Europe. I spent an extensive amount of time on Trip Advisor regarding accommodations. I feel like this was time well-spent as all of our hotels were very comfortable. I had stayed on Ebury Street before and found the location excellent. You can walk many places, like Buckingham Palace, Picadilly Circus or even... more
