We stayed at the Arosfa for one night. It's in a great location. The welcome was warm and friendly. We felt right at home. The rooms are on the small side, but they were clean and well-decorated. This is a brilliant little hotel. We'll be back.

Another find based on Tripadvisor and very definitely a repeat. Lovely little hotel, apparently family run and very, very friendly (how often have you heard the waitress singing to herself in the kitchen). The rooms are, shall we say, compact, or at least ours was, but it was spotlessly clean and very well laid out and was everything we needed.... More

On the plus side this place is central, well run, good welcome, good breakfast, clean and tidy. It was once the home of the artist Millais and the public areas have reproductions of his pictures. (Well I assume they were reproductions.) But my room, room 11, was a very small twin about 18ft long by <7ft wide. And that includes... More

Not the place for those who like to lounge around their room or have a lot of luggage - room was very small. However, it was spotlessly clean, quiet, cleverly fitted out and quite stylish. Attractive building with cosy lounge and lovely atmosphere. Very handy for buses, trains and underground and shops, bars etc within easy walking distance. Friendly helpful... More

This hidden gem was a lovely place for me to stay while visiting my daughter at UCL! The facilities are small and may not be best for an extra large person but I found everything to be well designed and convenient. This little hotel in central London is fabulous find!

The positives of this hotel: Extremely friendly staff and spotlessly clean rooms. Breakfast was delicious and we appreciated being able to leave our luggage as our overnight train had us in London very early. Our room was decorated very well and had great technological upgrades. Negatives: our room was on the top floor, and when I say top floor I... More

I give this a 5 rating because everything except the size of the double bedroom (and more especially the bathroom which should be really called a bathroom cupboard) was perfect. The double bedroom had 2 small single beds but they were nice enough and there were all the other things one might need like hairdryer etc. The location is great... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
