Perfect location, comfortable rooms, fantastic English breakfast--The Morgan was the ideal choice for my first visit to London! Steps from the British Museum, close to the Holborn tube station, The Morgan offers easy access to everything that's wonderful about London.

Travelling alone I had very small “twin bed” room with “ensuite” in June of 2015. My major selection criterion was an inexpensive hotel close to the British Museum. The Morgan Hotel is nearly on the grounds of the museum, about a 5 minute stroll away. The hotel staff was attentive and pleasant. I arrived on a flight from New York... More

Stayed 8 days. B&B is close to British Museum, Tottenham court tube stop is an easy 15 minute walk. Restaurants are nearby. Breakfast was typical for B&B in a pleasantly decorated room below grade. Single room (#205) was quiet, small but adequate with good size bathroom. Staff were attentive and responsive. Wi-Fi was good. No elevator. Extended my stay by... More

The hotel is cheap and in a good location, but that's about the only thing positive I can say. The internet was not working during my stay. Was told that it must be my device, but two other guests commented that the internet was not working for them either. Hotel was clean enough, but the towels had some questionable stains... More

We stayed at the Morgan Hotel in London for four nights. Our room, 246, was below ground level but very nice. One wall was entirely made of windows and a glass door opening to a bricked, walled courtyard. The bed was comfortable, the sitting area with TV was easy to fall asleep in and the bath was clean. The breakfasts... More

The Morgan Hotel is very well located in central London. It is right around the corner from the British Museum and a short (10-15 minute) walk to the West End, Covent Garden, and Trafalgar Square! My room was very comfy to collapse into after a long day of walking, the bed had a cozy duvet, and the shower in the... More

As teachers with summers free, my friend and I would make annual vacations to London and stay at the Morgan Hotel, which was always so clean, attractive, affordable, and well located. It had been 24 years since my last visit, and the hotel was even better--remodeled with nicer bathrooms, redecorated (still so tasteful), updated electronically including free phone service. But... Great value, comfortable. Very central - walking distance from Covent Garden. Great staff. Would have given it 5 out of 5 had it had tea and coffee facilities in the room! Fantastic breakfast. I would stay there again as an overnight business clean bed and nice shower!

We rented two rooms at the Morgan winter of 2013-14 and were very pleased with the accomodations. The breakfast was great - choice of sausages, toast, hot cereals, eggs, etc. One room had a private patio ensconsed in shrubery - very nice. The staff were very pleasant and informative. Nice access to the tube and the British Museum is around... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
