I stayed for one night for a conference in London. The location was great, right near the Institute of Education which is fantastic. Good access to mainline stations at Kings Cross and Euston and to tubes at Russell Square. The hotel was clearn with a good breakfast selection, and they were able to help with my request for a ground... More

A good deal for central London, perfect for those needing to get to the Eurostar or Euston. There is a pleasant breakfast room where you can get a full English breakfast. The bedroom itself however was tiny, the bed felt quite narrow and toiletries very sparse, but clean. One off-hand receptionist was the main downside, while her colleague was very... More

I booked this hotel with a weeks notice as my husband and I were looking to stay for a weekend in London without the kids. I booked the room for £115 which also included a breakfast. The room wasn't the biggest but was perfect for us. It was clean and well decorated. It had an en suite which was also... More

The staff are friendly and efficient. Although small, the room was clean, bright and had everything we needed for an overnight stop. The breakfast was freshly cooked, tasty and plentiful. We asked for a quiet room and could not have been happier. We were given a room on the second floor at the back, which was quiet even with the... More

This is a very nice hotel but it has the most aggressive and unfriendly manager I have ever come across, he threatened to throw me out by calling the police after I paid for 4 nights of accommodation and have the room key in my hand! Although I have been there a number of times before, I will never go... More

This was our second trip to the Harlingford. We went back the second time because it is so handy to the Russell Square Tube station. It's not fancy but quaint with clean room, nice tiled bathrooms and an above average breakfast room. It has a great little pub right around the corner, Lord John Russell Pub, which served us a... I recently stayed at the Harlingford Hotel whilst attending a conference in London. The hotel room was well-designed, well-decorated, quiet and clean. The Wi-Fi access was invaluable and free. The breakfast was included in the cost and was freshly cooked to order. My one warning is that the shower stall was very small, and the shower pressure not particularly high.... More

Our family of four stayed here for six nights. We loved the great breakfast and polite staff. Appreciated the coffee/tea facilities in our room. We had a king size bed and two twins and felt the room size was adequate. Loved the cat and dog who always were around. Great to have a lounge to sit in during the evening.... More

It's the height of tourist season and I feared I would get a good hotel on a budget for a hen do. This hotel had a great geo location but I didn't know the hotel or the area but I took a chance based on the reviews and they are accurate. Contact room but with great faculties- hot shower, flat... This is a beautiful hotel - the decor is amazing both on the outside and within, and the reception area is clean and well-presented. However, there is no lift, so be aware of this if you have mobility problems and cannot climb stairs. My hotel room itself was quite small but very clean, and all the facilities (for example the... Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
