After a rainy first day in London my husband and I just wanted a warm shower and a place to hang up our soaking wet coats. We were shown to a closet the hotel was trying to pass as a room. Our bathroom was down the hall and down a set of stairs! Supposedly no one else was using the... More

We stayed three nights with the family. Walking distance from Victoria Station. Room was a bit small but perfectly equipped. Bathroom had lovely marble. Breakfast room is nicely decorated with natural day light. Continental Breakfast had good selection. Reception staff were kind and polite. Very affordable and we will return.

You will be charged for incidentals you never had and promised refund after refund. If you are lucky they will reply here saying they are working hard to improve - they are not, it is a grubby 2 star overpriced hotel with service to match. Do not kid yourself these are one-off bad reviews, the place is a dump.

After reading the reviews on here I did my best not to get my hopes or expectations up. However I am thoroughly impressed. The level of service was efficient and excellent. None of the food seemed stale and cheap, the refills of tea was also much appreciated. I believe going at a quieter time is better, as there was only... More

Stayed here for one night and it went exactly how I hoped it would. Our check in was at 3pm, which was later than I read online, but that's okay because we could have left our luggage there whilst exploring our surroundings. Our room was very nice, clean and cozy. The staff could have been a bit more friendly, but... More

On arrival hopes were high as the reception looked okay however it was downhill from there. When I got given my room key card I was told that the bathroom was not in my room but next door, I thought okay my key card will open this....no....the bathroom was shared between other rooms and was not very nice (broken tiles,... This hotel is 2 star at best. Room 403 was disgusting: dark grubby, damaged furniture, stained walls. In-room selection of teas poor. Carpet badly stained. We requested a move and were given room 208. Brighter room, a bit cleaner. But bathroom floor tiles badly cracked, ceiling above show badly stained with damp, Safe in wardrobe (make that cupboard) had no... More

We stayed here for 2 nights for the London marathon 2015. First room given to us was dark, dirty and the mattress like a trampoline, we complained and they found another room, which was better but still had problems. the staff were unhelpful. Breakfast was a joke, with nothing organised for early marathon runners. Charged £30 for incidentals and then... More

Good points:- Excellent location; A comfortable bed in good-sized room, with a good en-suite. Polite staff. Disappoointing points:- Continental breakfast meagre, with poor choice. Extractor fan in en-suite did not work. Cracked pane in a bedroom window. Cigarette end + ash from a former guest found in our teapot. A replacement was quickly provided. No ordinary (English) tea provided initially... More

Staying in Belgravia

Neighborhood Profile
Belgravia
Home to the vast majority of embassies and diplomatic residences in London, sophisticated and upscale Belgravia also boasts a wealth of luxury hotels, fine dining restaurants, and some of the city’s most stroll worthy lanes. While the prices here are high, taking a leisurely stroll through the streets of picturesque and elegant white stucco houses is free. Hyde Park and the Buckingham Palace Gardens are only a stone's throw away to the north, and some of Europe’s best shopping is nearby as well.
