I'm quite fussy about a Sunday roast as I make a very good one. If we eat at a pub on a Sunday I'm just waiting for the stale roast potatoes, tough meat and tasteless, water like gravy. The Fox and Grapes amazed me. We shared a full chicken and it was delicious. So tender. The veg was sublime and... More

I'm writing this from my very comfy bed in this lovely b&b on Wimbledon common. Staff are very friendly and welcoming and didn't even mind us not checking in until 11.30pm. Continental breakfast was lovely too, served in the bar with fresh fruit salad and as much toast and pastries as you would ever need. Would recommend to anyone needing... More

This Inn is located on the edge of Wimbledon Common with its rooms named after the Wombles who allegedly live on the Common! The building is an old Inn that has been modernised but in a tasteful manner. The food and drink are very good and the accommodation is great - but there is only a handful of rooms. The... More

My wife and I had our wedding reception and wedding night here a year ago, so decided to come back for our first anniversary. But our overall feeling was that we probably won't stay again. The welcome on arrival wasn't hugely friendly, despite them knowing it was our first anniversary. (I'd mentioned it when booking and on the morning on... More

I stayed here with my boyfriend, I think in summer last year. We absolutely loved staying here. The décor is fresh and pretty, the location right on the common could not be better and the restaurant downstairs serves good food with an adventurous twist. I did feel a little nostalgic for the old Fox & Grapes, as I liked that... More

This is a fantastic place to stay. Staff are so friendly and the accommation is like a home from home. We were fortunate and had a little (and very private) patio area off our room which we accessed via patio doors. We will definately be back.

A really nice place, staff nice and friendly, food is slightly more expensive but trust me it's worth it. Parking was a slight problem due to the lack of car parking spaces and local school in the same road and at school times the traffic is manic but don't let this distract you from the venue and what it's got... What a great place to stay! Jo and his team were really friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The food was great and the breakfast hamper a lovely touch. The room was bright and clean and it even had a Nespresso machine which pleased my husband who is a total coffee snob! We stayed for 3 nights and would... More

I needed somewhere to stay for a couple of nights during the week whilst visiting friends and this little pub was perfect. A 10 minute taxi ride from Wimbledon tube station so not too far out. The room was well furnished and had plenty of space, as well as the comfiest bed I have slept in in years. Lovely, bright... More
