A really nice place, staff nice and friendly, food is slightly more expensive but trust me it's worth it. Parking was a slight problem due to the lack of car parking spaces and local school in the same road and at school times the traffic is manic but don't let this distract you from the venue and what it's got... What a great place to stay! Jo and his team were really friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The food was great and the breakfast hamper a lovely touch. The room was bright and clean and it even had a Nespresso machine which pleased my husband who is a total coffee snob! We stayed for 3 nights and would... More

I needed somewhere to stay for a couple of nights during the week whilst visiting friends and this little pub was perfect. A 10 minute taxi ride from Wimbledon tube station so not too far out. The room was well furnished and had plenty of space, as well as the comfiest bed I have slept in in years. Lovely, bright... More

My wife and I got a good first impression when we arrived at the Fox & Grapes. We got there late on Thursday night after a long flight and very much appreciated the way we were greeted by two friendly staff members who had stayed after regular hours to welcome us. Those guys were really nice. The next morning we... More

My husband & I very much enjoyed our overnight stay at this delightful gastropub, well placed to Wimbledon village. We didn't have dinner on this occasion, but the menu looked excellent. The bedroom & ensuite although not huge, was well decorated, in a favoured neutral, contemporary style, spotlessly clean. The bed was extremely comfortable, a good wall mounted flat screen... More

For £125 per night (as at 26/10/13), this pub with its lovely rooms, is excellent value. The pub is situated just on the side of Wimbledon Common, ideal for leisurely walks. The rooms where pleasantly decorated and well equipped with the usual facilities. The only slight issue is that the bathroom is very small, and for those who aren't skinny... More

What a lovely little place, only 3 rooms (all en-suite) within a Public House. Neutral furnishings, crisp linen and a fabulous en-suite. In room facilities were of an good standard - flat screen TV & Nespresso coffee machine. Only downside was the room temperature, very cold due to leaded windows and heating through AC took an age to heat up... More

I only stayed one night at the Fox & Grapes. The three rooms that are let out are extremely well appointed, lovely en suite facilities (although there was a drain smell in my room), quaintly names after Wombles - Wellington, Cholet and Tobermory... sigh... Beautiful white linen and Nespresso coffee machine with a clear acrylic chair a le Philippe Starke.... More

We had a very comfortable and pleasant eveining here - lovely room - well decorated clean and comfortable - rather restful. The food is outstanding and very fresh produce used. It is served with enthusiasm and a refreshing passion. Very nice staff - all quite young. The next morning breakfast was slightly spoilt by the unpardonably noisy local "yummy mummy"... More

This used to be a lovely slightly off the beaten track pub in Wimbledon Village. On the old classic Olly Read pub crawl. So when I heard it had been reinvented as a pub/restaurant with accommodation I was a little anxious. But time marches on and tastes and needs change. On my recent visit back "home" I booked in here... More
