Friendly reception staff. Satisfactory breakfast. The people who shared the room with us was a disaster. They managed to get drunk people into the room with permission from the inside. Very sad situation. Too small room for 12 people.

*Disclosure- this is the only hostel I have used so far in London so I don't know what the norm is for hostels in this area Pros: - very friendly and helpful staff - great location just around the corner from the Lambeth North Underground station which is just one line transfer from Heathrow Airport. It's also a short walk... More

The staff was friendly and the bar was open late. The underground was very close to walk to, but the rooms were much less than desirable. Top bunks didn't even have room to sit up in. Only two bathrooms and one was not working for the whole stay. It was okay, but I wouldn't stay there again.

I've stayed at 5 countries and 7 hostels, and here is the best of best. good: Great location so that you can walk to Lambethnorth station in 5 min. near waterloo. Reception is great. frank and gentle english man, here. Foods and drinks are 10%off for guests. Not so loud, the noise from the bar was. bad: A little hard... More

Do you still think about the staying here? PubLove is brilliant place where to be, sleep, drink or do the other cool stuff! Not far from the center, friendly people who are always willing and ready to help you and give some advice for a trip. I was travelling solo, but I felt there so comfortable and nice. The incredible... More

It's the best hostel just 5 minutes from Lambeth North tube station. You can't expect something luxurious when you talk about hostels, but this is obviously one of the best ranked thanks to the cleanliness and the staf f polite at all times.

Clean bed linen, but a worn out old pub selling cheap frozen pizzas. Bathroom and toilet floors were swirling in urine . limp bread for breakfast. You should find better for the price. Tip: unlike other hostels, you pay more ( twice the price) for booking in advance! Use only as a last resort.

If you want to stay in central London cheap, safe and don't mind the sound of partying this is the place! Limited space, like at most places in London, this is situated on top of a pub. The bunk beds are of the three level type so you need to do a bit of climbing to reach the top bunk.... More
