I spent there two nights and fortunately only two.. Overall the atmosphere seems nice specially in the pub and common room below. The rest, not at all. Just some facts I'll write down here: Rooms are creepy somewhere the plaster was falling down, mattresses are too tiny easily feeling the metal frame. Secondly we had a fan for heating running all night... More

I actually had a very nice stay here. I'm used to the average hostel standard, and this was just as good as the price gives impression of. I was actually pleasantly surprised, concidered the horrible ratings below. The room was quiet and the beds so good (slept like a baby). Even though the showers were more like boiling high pressure... More

It's a very cheap hostel. However the bathrooms and bedrooms smells bad. There's some kitchen facilities like a microwave and a refrigerator. Very close to underground and a bus stop. If want one of the cheapests places, you find it. If you can afford a little more, i advice to get a clean one.

We found our 9-person room cheap online, and snatched the deal when we saw it came with a private bathroom. We stayed at Arsenal for four nights, and we weren't disappointed. The room was cleaner than I expected, even our bathroom wasn't too bad. Mattresses were thin, but then again it was a hostel, and the bunk beds were three... More

This is the best bang for the wee buck…don't expect much. Good stuff: great hardworking staff. Clean linen, peaceful rooms: Locker included with good lock (no pad lock required), brekkie included (very basic of course, coffee/tea/bread/butter/jam/cornflakes/milk) The hostel is pretty near the Tube. Trip to downtown 30 mins. Food stores & cafes just there. Bad stuff: the men´s shower is... More

London is not famous for awesome hostels but this one is not even half acceptable. Just to name a few things: there was a mouse in our dorm, i went to let the receptionist know and said i don't want to cause trouble but maybe they should do something about it. Of course nothing was done, he didn't even offer... More

Pros: - nice, safe, working class neighbourhood, plenty of cute/cozy cafés, restaurants + cheap grocery - plenty of couches to lounge around in common room, 2 pool tables, tv - fridge, free coffee/tea, microwave + free breakfast - en suite in female dorm - free use of small lockers in room Cons - female 12p dorm was stuffy, I'm sure... If you're feeling optimistic about this hostel and still think that all the comments are exagerated, well please change your.mind! The pictures are a euphemism of the actual state of the hostel! Zone 2 is far from the city center! You'll just end up spending your money on transport rather than on a descent place to sleep! Rooms are tiny,... More

Trust all bad reviews about this hostel and try to find a better one! The atmophere is terrible. The rooms were filthy. The toilets are also filthy and to small. The staffs are rude and unhelpful. The lockers are too small. I'll never come back here.

The hostel is decent. The bunk beds are small and stacked three high. There were 15 people in the room i stayed in. It was pretty packed, but at the same time easy to meet people. We went out a few nights with people we met from our room. The bathroom is small, so are the lockers. The staff was... More
