I was not overly impressed with this hostel in London. While the location was fantastic, I arrived an hour after the check-in time started, and they were still cleaning my room. The breakfast ends EXACTLY at 9:00am, so don't be a minute late or you won't get anything. The beds have about two feet of space in between each bunk,... More

I stayed only one night, but conditions were good, breakfast was tasty, and staff was very helpful. I thought that because of the busy neighboring railway lines, the room will be noisy, but it wasn't that at all. Had a good sleep after a long long journey. Thx. Sz

The hostel is very clap to Victoria station, Soho, and quite cheap! Though you need to bear some uncomfortable things. But it is still attractive. Unforgettable experience:) it is convenient for young people who travels in London with a few luggage, and people who wish to travel by trains and buses.:))))

I found this to be my favorite hostel at which I have ever stayed. The staff was great! They were helpful in giving my friends and I great ideas for things to explore in London, and they were always polite and fun. It is only one kilometer from the Buckingham Palace; the atmosphere doesn't get much cooler. If you want... More

For what we paid (22 pounds for 2 nights in a 15 people dorm) it was better than expected! The pub downstairs is quite cozy with board games, nice atmosphere and good food! The dorms themselves were pretty clean, of course sharing the room with 14 other people might get a bit noisy and smelly, but i've seen way worse!... More

I stayed here last late September and my review concerning bedbugs is no longer showing on the website I booked it on. I stayed for one night, and with plenty of experience in grotty hostels I had low expectations. However, I did not expect to be eaten alive by bedbugs. The pub is very cute, but the staff are brusque... More

Hi there, Thanks for leaving us a review. Since last September we have changed a lot and we are working really hard to be a great hostel and always trying to improve on many levels. I'm really sorry you felt uncomfortable in mixed dorms and mixed facilities. We have two hostels in our company (the Green Man and the Exmouth... More

this hostel is so dirty : they have 5 toilets and showers for over 50 people, who are of course not working, dirty, blocked, occupied etc the girls "cleaning" there don´t even bother emptying the trash everyday they don´t have a kitchen, so you can´t even warm up your food or anything. the bunk beds are on 3 levels, so... Hello there, I'm really sorry to hear about your experience with us. It looks as if we may not have made ourselves clear enough on our website regarding to limited kitchen facilities that we have here. I am really sorry about that. We do offer great guest discounts on the food we sell at the bar! (and our burgers are... More

I've stayed at this location on several occasions. The location great for staying in London, or for passing through. It's proximity to stations is it's greatest asset. They are often quite full, so one can save time and avoid the rush by grabbing a shower in the evening instead of morning. Aim for the rooms with 12beds. The small price... More

The best thing about the hostel is its location: walkable distance from Victoria train station and Victoria couch station, close to the main attractions (it is possible to walk until the Big Ben). The rooms were really crowded, the bathrooms were not enough for everybody (you have to queue if you wanna take a shower in the morning) and the... More

Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
