I stayed 9 nights at this hotel for a recent holiday, and it was just OK. First, the hotel is full of scents, and most are unpleasant. Upon entering the lobby you are greeted with a strong air scent that smells like a man's cologne. It was nice at first, but by the second day it was overpowering. By the... More

This was our second stay at the Melia White House property. The first was years ago before(TripAdvisor)and before the Melia group took it over. We thought it was good then, but it is great now(4*s). It is in an excellent condition for being an older property but has been upgraded to a great hotel but not stuffy. Its location, location,... More

Lovely accomodations. Breakfast selection for Sunday morning....was superb! I left some workout clothing behind on Sunday 27 May morning departure and need to reach someone to describe.

Ours was a group of four women on a trip to London for sightseeing/shopping/eating out. We got this hotel through a Secret Hotel deal and our expectations weren't too high. When we arrived the reception staff were friendly and courteous - couldn't ask for anything more really and dealt with the check-in procedure swiftly. We were asked if we wanted... More

Situated a stone's throw from Great Portland Street tube and Regents Park is this contemporary, stylish 4* hotel. I visited with my partner, due to an office party being held in one of their function rooms. I actually found the function room a bit stuffy as it was located in the basement, but the hotel lobby and bars felt airy... More

Hotel is conveniently located. Rooms are ok size for central London (bathroom v small) but would be small compared to non london hotels. My room was clean, well maintained and comfortable and the bed was comfortable. I was there during a hot week and while the lobby is well air conditioned, the rest of the hotel is not. Fortunately I... More

We booked using some reward points we had from a stay at another Melia property last year. The bedroom we were allocated was ridiculously small for a double so I went back to reception and ended up paying for an upgrade to a "Junior Suite" which included a buffet breakfast in the Executive Lounge and Free WiFi (so quite good... We stayed here last weekend and on arriving at the hotel, first impressions were quite good. There's an 'interesting' smell when you initially walk through the lobby to reception - e.g. clean and fresh but after a while, its becomes overwhelming (like a sickly soap scent). Which is a shame because its quite distracting from the very spacious and pleasant... More

Executive room was fine, not particularly big but OK. Bar service was prompt and friendly. Check-in was swift and efficient. Can’t fault anything about this hotel in the 3 nights I was there, other than I thought the rooms were a bit too warm at night. The porter will look after your luggage if you arrive before 3pm check-in, which... More
