Being a Londoner who has to spend a lot of time in conferences, I've been very well acquainted with Melia White House as a conference venue for many years, but very recently I had an opportunity to sample the guest rooms as I spent the night there too. The impressions are very mixed. As a conference venue, Melia is very... More

Checkin was so stiff and formal it was painful - it was "professional" taken to the next level of robotic. I guess you cant fault someone for being too professional but it was just an odd experience. Felt like he was being watched and wasnt allowed to smile. Overall, location is good, beds are comfortable, but it's just... average. Issues:... More

Fine quality decor, marble lobby and a beige/silver/gold/black colour theme all give an air of class to this hotel which is also very central being only a street or two away form the south-east corner of Regent's Park, and just off the Euston Road. I stayed overnight before a work-related seminar being held at the hotel the next day, and... More

This hotel was OK, but the room had a very old-fashioned decor, all gold and black, like it hadn't been updated since the 70s or 80s. For the price I would have expected a more updated look. The room was clean though. The breakfast was very good, lots of variety in the food offered. The location was relatively quiet for... More

The staff of the hotel are the kindest, ever. Special thanks to NORAH in the restaurant, and SUNDAY NWADKO- they are just so great ! We have stayed at Melia White House for ten years now, in a row, and hope to stay there for the next ten years, too. See you later, Melia White House !

Paid in advance and told on arrival that the only available room was a twin, not the double that we paid for. No apology and only alternative was paying extra for a superior room. No iron in room, took 45 mins to have one brought to my room. On checkout I was then told that I had made calls for... More

Busy, central London hotel. Lovely fragrance throughout public areas which is inviting. Checked in at an acceptable pace but it could have been better! Most of the public areas look very good though the carpet is tired in places. Overall, I was happy with my room. It had a queen size bed which was a pleasant surprise as I'd expected... More

An over all nice hotel with luxury feeling for less money. A very good breakfast for being in England. Also a very good location close to Camden Town, Regent park, and oxford Cirkus all in walking distance.

This is the 4th time I have stayed at the hotel and slightly disappointed with the normal high standards received. We were on 6th floor which smelt of curry and the carpets were damaged close to the lifts. At breakfast the head waiter ("The Level") was unfriendly and more interested in herself than her guests! Notwithstanding this, I will be... More

Dear Philip A, we thank you for your review. We apologise about the staff attitude, which is absolutely surprising to us as we are not used to such a guest comment. We will share it with the Restaurant Manager to avoid similar perception, we love to offer a complete different customer service. Regarding the carpet, we are planning to replace... More
