I love the Rubens. The location is fantastic, but it is mostly about the service.

I love the Rubens. The location is fantastic, but it is mostly about the service.
We love this hotel for first day arrival. Always the rooms are ready, when Gatwick Express arrives at Victoria from 830a arrivals from US. For this reason we stay in the older part of the hotel toward the center. The rooms are small but that is ok, because we are there the first and last night of our trip to...

Anyone going to London has to stay at The Rubens at the palace. This hotel is top notch. The staff is so friendly and helpful and the location is amazing!!We cant wait to go back! Darlene and Ed [NJ]
We went there for the marathon. It is so near to the finish line that works perfectly for runners. The hotel itself is very convenient for sightseeing, near to Victoria, to Backingham and so on. Rooms are not bad, although perhaps need some refurbishing. Service is good, and breakfast is reasonably fine. Not too expensive for London standards.
Don't get enamoured by the postal address of this hotel and hence don't give it preference over other London hotels. Its very much overpriced hotel and a standard room measures approximately 8'x10'. I could barely move in the room.Since this hotel was booked by my travel agent and was pre-paid,I had no choice.Believe me there are better hotels at lesser...

This hotel has one of the most responsive and friendliest staffs of any hotel that I have stayed in. A staff person comes to your room immediately to solve problems such as "I don't know how to regulate the hot water in the shower." The buffet breakfast is lovely. My standard room was very small but had all the amenities....

My husband and I have just returned from a week at the Rubens and I couldn't have been happier with our stay. The room, while on the small side, was designed perfectly and once the two of us unpacked, we had plenty of room. We were on the fourth floor looking out onto other rooms and AC equipment, but we...

We stayed on a "stay for 3, pay for 2" night deal in a Junior suite. On arrival we were shown to our room the " Queen suite" on the 1st floor, it was spacious and beautifully decorated in cream shades which was very calm and relaxing to return to after a busy day of sightseeing. The staff are so welcoming...

A great hotel in a great location. The rooms are elegant and comfortable, the food is delicious but it is the staff that really enhance the experience - there are plenty of them and they are exceptionally friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back. A fabulous hotel.
This hotel is lovely and well maintained, the staff and service excellent. Our room was spotless, well furnished and a decent size with a lovely big bed which gave us a good night's sleep. The room had everything to make our stay enjoyable. However the room appeared to be sandwiched between two buildings and the narrow window looked out onto...
