My daughter and I were guests at the Rubens at the beginning of April, for 8 days. The trip was to celebrate her college graduation - so I wanted everything to be memorable and perfect. We had an exceptionally clean and well appointed room, overlooking the Royal Mews and Queens Gallery. Hotel service staff were very polite, helpful, and accommodating.... More

Excellent service and a beautiful room. We left behind a phone charger which was posted to us and arrived promptly. Breakfast had a good selection with prompt and efficient service. Reception staff were helpful and we were able to leave our case at the hotel before official check in time

We had a great 7 night stay at Ruben's at the Palace. The rooms were clean, the food was excellent (we only did eat full breakfast there) and the staff was very attentive. The location is great for sightseeing as you have immediate access to tour buses, city buses, and the underground. In addition, you can walk to the lovely... More

Its taken me a while to write a review for this. Myself and my boyfriend stayed ere for 5 night in November 2013. I could not rate this hotel any higher. From checking in to checking out, there wasn't one fault. The downside was that their were building works going off across the road from our room but the hotel... More

I knew that the rooms would be on the smaller side, but the helpful reception and concierge more than made up for that. I was amazed at the sumptuous English breakfast as well. I was on the 2nd floor in 227 which had an unfortunate view over a construction site. Occasionally I was woken up mornings by garbage collectors.

Dear Guest, thank you for taking the time to post a review. I was delighted to hear that you found our concierge and reception staff to be so helpful and friendly. I have passed on this wonderful praise to my Front of House Manager. I am sorry to hear that you found your room to be slightly smaller than expected.... More

We stayed here for 4 nights - What a great location, practically across from Buckingham Palace and close to transportation. Victoria Train station is nearby and taxis are plenty. The rooms are smaller, but who stays in their room on vacation?! It was plenty of room for the two of us and the bathroom was also nice. (A very high... More

It was the first time we stayed in this hotel. I love the neighbourhood (Buckingham Palace and Belgravia) and chose it after reading good reviews in Tripadvisor. When we arrived the reception staff was very welcoming but upon entering the room I was dissapointed. The interior decoration was very beautiful and British but the room was so tiny that I... More

Just back from staying at this hotel over the weekend. Whilst the rooms are smaller than your average room, the service is of a very high standard, which more than compensates. All staff were genuinely very friendly and keen to help/ensure we had a pleasant stay. The hotel sits in a great location, just round the corner from Buckingham Palace. The... More

Staying in Westminster

Neighborhood Profile
Westminster
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.
