This hotel has polite staff, is very clean, and situated in a great location and thats where the good news ends. The key focus of management seems to be penny pinching and price gouging. The price gouging started from the minute we arrived. We were dehydrated from a long international flight and expected bottled water to be one of the... More

My husband and I have stayed at this hotel twice a year for many years, so maybe we are a bit subjective as to the hotel and its staff. We have always been very well looked after. The location is perfect for almost everything, and it is always quiet at night, except for some noise by the doors opening and... More

We wanted to be this side of London so for us the location was very good. The hotel exterior was being upgraded so had scaffolding outside but our room was not affected. However the room was up on the 6th floor and was quite small. The bathroom was also small, you had to close the door to access the bath... More

Located with a very short walk of the Natural History Museum and South Kensington Tube. The exterior of the hotel is undergoing a makeover. Lobby and public areas are modern and typical, large hotel marble and glass. The room we had was on the corner of the building over looking a busy junction. Despite the double glazing it was noisy... This was our third trip to England in three years and each time we spent time in London we stayed here. It's a short 8 minute walk from the South Kensington tube stop. Prices are good for central London. We were surprised this time that wifi was included in our stay. (We think that was a mistake but were sure... More

Did not sleep because I was given the "worst room in the hotel" and was woken up by door openings and closings all night. No fridge in room and no shaver socket. Unapologetic check in staff. The wifi is good though and the rooms appear modern.

I stayed at the Regency Hotel on a recent business trip in Sept 2014. The hotel is undergoing some external renovations but this didn't really detract from my stay. Initially the lobby and check in staff were professional and proficient without really displaying any personality at the same time. Very business like. The lobby and halls are well kept and... More

My husband and I were part of a tour group that spent 3 nights at the Regency. Since our tour cost included hotels, we did not use our credit card other than for 1 Coke while at the Regency. However, when we returned home, we had charges of $1715.87 on our Visa. It has taken over 3 months to get... More

Initial reaction was the people at the front desk. The woman who checked us in was not very warm. very curt with her comments. The room was nice but you cannot look out the window as all you can see is scaffolding. The bellman was nice and helpful. No toiletries in the room. The location was great. Close to Harrods,... More

We stayed for a week and found the hotel excellent. The hotel has been renovated within the last couple of years. The lobby is bright and modern and welcoming. The staff were very friendly throughout. Our room, #116, was extremely comfortable. Very quiet, probably because we had no view and were on the back side of the hotel. Quirky few... More
