Really enjoyed our stay here. Great location in an upmarket area. Breakfast very enjoyable. The free wine and nibbles in the Atrium lounge was a definite bonus and we found it a very pleasant place to relax for an hour - I think little touches like that make all the difference to your stay. Staff pleasant and helpful, especially Claudia.... More

Having stayed here on several previous occasions for business I had no qualms booking myself and 2 colleagues in for one night on the 21st Jan. We arrived quite late, tired and just wanted to collapse, sleep and recharge for work the next day. Since the last time we visited (July 2014)they have introduced "ambient lighting". Effectively this means they... More

This is one of the larger hotels formed from converted houses from the 19th century. It has been modernised and the rooms are well appointed and well lit (why are hotel rooms almost brown?) although nowhere to hang towels to dry. The check in was efficient if impersonal, but the checkout I am trying to forget. The temperature control in... More

Stayed here for short break with my daughter ,the hotel is well situated for travelling around London. The street is lovely with nice cafés and bars nearby. Short walk and there are nice restaurants I found this area a nice safe place to walk around at night. Our room was a twin room very very small more like a single... More

Stayed here with the in-laws for a family do in London, very nice hotel and very friendly staff. Rooms were very clean but a bit on the small side (but it is London). The complementary breakfast was very good and would recommend if staying in or around this area.

We stayed here for six days at the beginning of January and here is what we thought: Reservation and Check in - we have booked to stay with club facilities and have requested the larger rooms. We booked directly and the sales and marketing staff was very accomodating and patient. Thanks. Check in was quick and they have noted all... More

I slept at Regency for one night last December, the room was nice and confortable. And so the Hotel, very elengant. Better to choose one room that does not face Queen's way, usually quite noisy for the traffic.

Stayed one night, had booked through Booking.com and picked high floor so any noise from traffic would be low - didn't quite expect to be in the gods and such a cramped double room. I am sure there were many other empty rooms that they could have put us in. Being on floor 6 there seemed to be a hot... More

Lack communication between front office and food and beverage. We paid for breakky but were told 3 consecutive mornings that we were not entitled to it. Quality of breakfast was poor. good chambermaids though. No air cond. And were told to open windows for fresh air which means non stop noise from street in front. We did not enjoy our... More

We stayed here for New Years eve, brilliant location, 15 minutes from Hyde park. Very modern interior, and cleanliness was to an outstanding standard. Beds were extremely comfy, and lining was soft. Complimentary drinks were available on arrival from 5:30pm-7:00pm as well as a complimentary breakfast which started at 7am and finished at 9am. The only downfall is due to... More

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
