Stayed here for a second time due to the perfect location and excellent staff. A warm welcome from Andrea on reception and the room quickly made ready although we arrived at midday and did not expect to be able to get into our room until 2.00pm. Great place to stay, comfortable, clean and tidy, and the staff are great. Had... More

Once again truly appreciate how calm the Rathbone is - can sleep with window open, very little noise from surrounding rooms. Rooms are surprisingly large for London, tea tray and bottled water are nice touches. Super location, lots of fantastic restaurants very nearby. Only criticism is that you have to pay for WiFi - most (dare I say almost all?)... More

This hotel is right in the centre of a lively and creative area. The hotel itself is very old-fashioned and charges for even basic wifi in rooms. Despite having a 'do not disturb' sign on my door after a long flight in from New York (I live in the UK), the sand paper rubbing on the outside wall of my... More

Visited on business. Room was clean and a good size. Bathroom was a bit old and dated. Main problem was the noise outside until the small hours of the morning from people leaving pubs and bars. I guess this is a hazard of this part of town. £250 with no breakfast is not a bargain but again I guess it... More

Great hotel and really well situated in central London. Easy to get to all the big attractions and shopping areas. I especially liked the things to do and restaurant recommendations (the hotel has discount agreements with a lot of local eateries!) in the room guide. A warm welcome and well appointed (if slightly outdated) bedroom made for a great stay.... More

We booked a night away for my Husbands Birthday, looking for something different from the main hotel chains. This is a lovely location, great restaurants around and the Hotel and Staff was perfect - We were well looked after, freshly cooked to our specification breakfast, comfortable room with plenty of space and every step of the way the staff were... We stayed here on a visit to London to see the poppies at the Tower. It is a gem of a place, from the warm welcome on arrival, it was a real gem of a hotel. Lovely rooms not huge but very well appointed. The breakfast was also nice, continental or for a small charge cooked. The hotel doesn't have... More

My wife and my daughter stayed for 5 nights in this wonderful hotel (2-9/9/14) Winning location (close to everything - shops, trendy restaurants and bars), personal attitude warm and cozy, and the best value for your money for a similar hotel of its kind in the region. Before and during the stay, we received a quality service, every request was... More
