Stayed at this hospital on 19th May with a number of colleagues, pre-booked and paid. Upon arrival the hotel asked for payment, when this was queried they said they would contact head office. One of my colleagues had to be moved to another hotel as they had fully booked in error, and another couldn't get check in at 5pm as... More

Staff do not have a clue what they are doing. A group of us were booked into the Radisson Blu for 1 night as we were there for an event. We checked in at 4.40 and one of the rooms still wasn't ready. We were told that we were being upgraded to superior suites. However my double room booking was... More

Had the staff arrange flowers and chocolates prior to my wife-to-be's arrival. The room was beautifully made up and staff were all aware of the imminent proposal. Super friendly staff, nice atmosphere and fuzz-free wifi. Thanks! See you next time

I stayed here on business recently. They didn't cater for my vegan breakfast. The room was clean and comfortable but I had to provide my own soya milk. I didn't eat there the whole time I was there (luckily, only three nights). It was fortuitous that I was in such a great location I could find somewhere to buy a... More

Lovely rooms & great location for shopping,However don't be fooled by the doorman telling you a mini cab is cheaper than a Black Taxi. I made this mistake and got charged £150 to be taken to the Airport in a Toyota Prius. On my return I found out a black taxi would have cost over half that amount. Hotel working... More

Dear James B, Thank you for sharing this with us. I am very concerned at hearing this. We do offer to arrange Minicab services to the airport, however, none of the companies who we book with use Toyota Prius cars and they all charge between £60 - £80 maximum for a typical transfer (up to 2 people with 4 bags)... I returned to the Berkshire recently on business and stayed for 21 nights. I am a regular guest having had at least 5 visits over the past two years. I stay in a business room on the 8th floor. The staff are consistently excellent attending to all my needs and really make me feel at home, which is very important... More

Staying in Marylebone

Neighborhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
