Recommend to avoid this hotel. Not even close to a fife star hotel. My room was for >£200 in the cellar and terrible small (<10m^2). In addition staff was very rude and unfriendly. We complaint to Manager and wanted money back. He refused and we left hotel and will never come back.

Beautiful hotel In a lovely part of London. Oxford street and Marble Arch station easily accessible. The spa complex is fairly small but beautifully presented with soft finishings and low lighting, it is also very clean. The pool was small but this didn't bother me, steam room, jacuzzi and sauna. The staff are so polite and friendly. The food was... More

The Montcalm is ideally located near Oxford Street and in close proximity to Marble Arch station. The hotel has a lot of charm and the staff goes out of there way to make your stay enjoyable. The restaurant staff at the buffet breakfast was really attentive. Due to the arched shape of the building, the rooms are quite small with... More

Booked with booking.com and got good deal. Ideally located for shopping on Oxford Street. Room was nice size did have panic about opaque bathroom window but figured it out in time to protect dignity. Little things let room down such as bathroom unit was water damaged and flaking. The bed throw had holes in it but don't let that put... More

Beautiful ambience and very courteous staff. All big showrooms on Oxford Street are walking distance and you can get some real bargains if you spend enough time. Hyde Park being just opposite and summer festival going on there was a bonus. Good fun

Location of the hotel is excellent, close to the shopping area . Staff are friendly , rooms have decent size . Service was good, friendly , efficient and to be honest was not expecting more .... Did not try out the food offering as there is wide choice near the hotel and within walking distance.. Nice first time experience overall..... More

I have stayed at the Marble Arch twice within the last two weeks. The first time I had to leave a day early on a non-refundable booking. I was also not 100% satisfied with the size of the room, but didn't formally requested another one. The duty manager, Rinha Da Silva found out that I wasn't happy and that I'm leaving... More

AVOID THIS HOTEL GROUP AT ALL COSTS. We arrived at a building site, no reception dust and dirt thick in the area, builders everywhere. That was the best it got, as matters went from bad to terrible rapidly, with embarrassed and ill-prepared staff unable to access booking, taking us to rooms with guests in already, abandoning us in corridors with... I stayed at The Marble Arch by Montacalm for three nights during a business trip to London. I arrived at the hotel fairly tired, and so was appreciative of very friendly staff who checked me in quickly. However, my experience with my room was disappointing. The room I was assigned, a Berkely double was small, which although typical for London... More

Staying in Marylebone

Neighborhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
