Stayed for two nights before joining a conference across the road at the Hilton. Was pleasantly surprised by the size of the room, way bigger than the Hilton and much cheaper. This place is so convenient to the Tower of London and has a tube station a few minutes away. Would definitely stay here again.

So I'm sat in the lobby of the Novotel as I write this review. I'm upset that I paid for what was essentially a camp bed in a 3 man room. The other two women I was with had to share a double bed. The bed I slept on was the most uncomfortable bed ever look at it this way,... More

My wife and I frequent this hotel many times a year when we visit London. We have stayed at many hotels across the city and have found that this hotel provides the best value for the money spent. The hotel is very close to Tower Hill station; which makes getting around the city extremely convenient. There are quite a few... More

I am travelling quite frequently both for business and leisure. I have stayed here for 1 night in April in a standard room. Location is superb just 2 minutes walking distance to the Tower Hill tube station. The check in was very quick and the Hotel staff was very professional and friendly. The rooms are very modern with great interior,... More

Dear guest Thank you for taking the time to write this review. I was pleased to read you enjoyed our convenient location and our ‘helpful staff’ but disappointed to read your comments of our lack of smiling service as this certainly does not reflect the standards we strive to achieve. Sorry to read about the internet connection as well, normally... More

This review is for US travelers. We stayed here for 4 nights on vacation. This is a modern hotel with medium sized rooms (as compared to equivalent hotels in the US) - decor is contemporary and beds are comfortable. Service is very efficient and friendly. Hotel restaurant food is nothing to write home about. The hotel is literally a 2... More

Stayed here whilst on a family break in London with 2 young children (6 & 2 yrs). Location near Tower Hill tube is great (1 minute walk). tower Hill is on the District and Circle lines so many tourist sights are easily accessible without too much hassle. Good breakfast (included in our rate) with lots of choice and all items... More

It isn't easy to get family (12+14 girls) in one hotel room London. In Novotel we found exceptionally good extra beds for children. Novotel Tower Bridge was one of the best hotels where I have stayed in London. Very clean and a room was big enough. Bathroom was good. Steam Sauna (no extra fee) was really nice and we visited... First of all, convenient location in London. A block from the tower hill underground. (Accessible from heathrow with one change from Piccadilly to circle or district line at several stops). We were very thankful to have room ready upon arrival from transatlantic flight that arrived at 730. We checked in at 10 and rested. The front staff was helpful and... More

Staying in City of London

Neighborhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighborhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighborhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
