I assume everyone stays here for its location, 5 mins from Oxford Circus, as there isn't much else going for it, save the price I guess. It really is rather depressing , a lot of budget London hotes are, but surely they could spend some money sprucing it up. I am asthmatic non smoker , so they stuck me i... More

My Husband and I stayed at the hotel for 7 nights to celebrate our honeymoon. The beginning was tough. We arrived, and although we had requested a nice quiet room the room we received was far from it. We received a room on the first floor right next to the lifts. After going back down to the reception and complaining... More

This hotel is in a former Edwardian home. The lobby is very lovely. This hotel is nice. Their restaurant has a wonderful menu.

The plus of this hotel (formerly called 'The Londoner') is the location. It's minutes from Oxford Street, one of London's busiest (although not best) shopping streets. It's close to Marylebone High Street too and London's 'medical' district where top physicians and surgeons have their offices. The hotel looks good from outside, it's an imposing building. The lobby is very ordinary... More

The hotel is within 10 mins walking distance from Oxford Circus station. As I stayed at this hotel with 2 other colleagues (each to a room), we each had varying quality of rooms. One had a refurbished room with new fittings (and a window that a burglar could potentially jumped through), one had a tiny oldish room, and I had... More

From the outside into the lounge, you feel you are likely to get something special. Delve into the rooms and you feel you went back in time. The receptionist was efficient in checking me in but neglected to inform us of breakfast times or even ask us if we'd like breakfast! Despite the efficiency, I felt hurried during the check... More

Unclean Out of date Disgusting service If you a priority club member, forget it, the staff do not recognise priority club. After having appalling check-in service as a platinum member, I asked if there wad an upgrade available. I was told there wasn't one. When I pushed hard, one suddenly became available. So this suggest they do not do room... More

LOCATION: near the underground and near the shopping area however if you have heavy luggages it's difficult. ROOMS: the room is tiny, old fashion bathroom, it's weird how they installed refillable shampoo bottle on the wall ( i think it's unsanitary you can catch something from previous guest that used it ), the television is old but the best thing... My daughter and I stayed at this hotel for a long weekend. This hotel is in a great location for Oxford Street, just a couple of minutes walk to the back entrance of Debenhams. We had a twin room on the 3rd floor. We thought the room perfect, although some paint was peeling around the built in wardrobe, the rest... More

Staying in Marylebone

Neighborhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
