Great location was the reason why we chose this IHG amongst the 2 dozen in the heart of London. Finding it was easy - right behind the Debenhams Building at Welbeck St. It was within minutes from the nearest tube and a great hotel to rest the tried legs (and go out again) after the shopping and hours of sightseeing.... It looked like a good location when I chose this hotel. Actualy I insisted to get this hotel and it was not cheap at all. Other than the location which is very close to Oxford Street and the metro, I would not recommend this hotel to my friends. We changed rooms twice. First, the room was very small and at... More

I stayed here with my son and daughter for 2 nights and had a lovely time. it was a surprise short break for my daughters 18th birthday. On arrival reception staff were pleasent and helpful.Rooms were comfortable and quiet. At breakfast we were greeted by a lovely member of the restaurant staff who showed us to our seats and all restaurant... I had purchased flights to London for my girlfriend's birthday to see THE PREMIERE OF HARRY POTTER & THE DEATHLY HALLOWS PART 2!!!! =D and we decided to both pick the hotel. It was then that my girlfriend found us an amazing deal at the Holiday Inn on Oxford Circus. The room was stunning (big!!), staff were very friendly and... More

It looked like a good location when I booked it via the Priority Club Site, of which I am a member since many years. And so it was. It is right off Oxford Street, in walking distance of just about everything in central London and it satisfied us completely. Rooms were standard Holiday Inn quality and more then adequate for... I stay here for work every few months when I stay in London. It is very central, a 5 min walk form Oxford Street (john lewis end) but the hotel has very little redeeming about it. London is expensive for hotels and this is why this hotel is dear. It does not suggest quality. Breakfasts are precooked and basic. Try... More

I stayed twice at this hotel. My first stay was two years ago with my family and we enjoyed the location of the hotel too much. My last visit was a business trip and this time even the hotel is far from the place where I have my meetings, I prefered this hotel since I could easily spent my time... More

This hotel is typical of Holiday Inn's worldwide. The service is good, the rooms are good, breakfast is available at extra cost. Given that it is just Off Oxford Street the price is reasonably high however for business it is a good call as rooms are generally available last minute.

A very clean, modern and comfortable hotel!. The location is great, only 7 minuts walk to the nearest tube staition. The braekfast is very tasty and offers a big vareity of options to choose from. The only fault is the lack of knowledge of the receptionists regarding turist attractions and directions. If you need informaition- dont count on the hotel... More

Staying in Marylebone

Neighborhood Profile
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
