The location speaks for itself - easy walking distance to Oxford Street and Bond Street, I stayed for one night and was well impressed with the standard of the room and general environment. I booked a room only deal, which was also a really good price for such a central location - and went for breakfast to one of the... More

This was my second stay at this hotel and I've really enjoyed it. I booked it through the hotel's own site and opted for the paid in advance option which is around 15% cheaper than the flexible rate. That makes it a very good deal for this central spot in London. The room was quite spacious, the service both at... More

We stayed here for a one night theatre break . staff excellent, room very comfortable slept like a log. Breakfast very enjoyable. I don't normally bother to give a review but felt this place deserves one. Location perfect for shopping and theatres. I went there together with my friend and our mums during the christmas season. We stayed for 3 nights in a 2 double bed room. It was very nice and clean, even the bathroom. They changed the towels every morning and did our beds. The only problem we had was when we went for breaksfast. We had payed online and... More

Great location for Oxford St shopping. Quiet street. Plenty of restaurants etc in surrounding streets. Room reasonable but in need of redecoration. Stayed on first floor at front which had some noise from flag poles and quite upsetting noise from room next door at 3am! Can't blame hotel for clientele activities! Breakfast very expensive. Staff friendly. Would stay again for... More

Dear WhereNextl, Pleased that you liked our location on a quiet street just behind Oxford Street. Sorry that there was noise from the room next door in the early hours. Just so you are aware we do sell breakfast advance vouchers on check-in for £12.00 per person which is much lower than if you just walk into our restaurant in... More

My partner and I stayed here 13 March 2015, as we were going to Comic Relief at the Palladium that evening. The hotel, staff, and room were very well presented. We have no complaints about any. If you ask for the 'meal deal' then dinner and breakfast are charged at a lower rate, than just arriving at the resturant. The... More

This is my second stay at this hotel. We stayed in a twin room which was very comfortable. The amenities of hair dryer, iron, were readily available in the room...which sometimes isn't the case. The hotel is very convenient to shopping districts as well as picking up the tourist bus tours. The staff was super helpful in all requests and... More

Enjoyed our short break in this hotel, we had a room on the top floor with very good views, the staff are all very friendly and listen if you have a problem. We first stayed here over 25 years ago when it was still an independent called 'The Londoner' and wanted to return as we were now travelling with our two adult nippers. It didn't disappoint, it is showing a bit of wear but nothing too serious. The staff were all very good, polite and very efficient. The staff on the breakfast... More

Staying in Marylebone

Neighborhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
