Stayed here, with daughter, for the weekend in January 2015. The location of the hotel was great, especially as we did quite a lot of shopping. I asked for an early check in when I booked the room, but when I arrived my room wasn't ready. I fully understand that requests are not guaranteed, and it will depend on how... More

I really cant understand some of the negative reviews here! We didnt get breakfast so cant comment on this. Room was spacious enough for a central london hotel.. ive had much smaller rooms in other hotels. Room was clean with fresh linen and towels changed daily. We never had problems with late housekeeping and as regards toiletries one would also... More

Everything was ok but coming on business wifi is important. Having stayed at Holiday Inns throughout Uk this must have the worst wifi. 3G ten times quicker! Needs to be sorted out to attract business customers. If not, avoid!

We were going to see a show at the palladium and wanted somewhere near in case of bad weather, being January. I have read other reviews so can only base mine on a one night stay. I stayed in this hotel for the first time for a few days before Christmas as all Premier Inns were booked out. I was very pleasantly surprised, and when Premier Inns are reaching the £170 per night price point, the Holiday Inn is a much better choice. It does not feel like a budget hotel, even though the pricing is... More

This was the last stop for my sister and me on a two week visit to Ireland, Scotland and London. First, the positive points: Good location; large, for London, comfortable room; clean; friendly staff at the front desk, reasonable price. Less than stellar: The front desk could not mail a domestic letter for me; only toiletry was soap - when... More

Staying in Marylebone

Neighborhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
