I have been to many hotels in the world but this one was the worst experience! We were 3 people and a 6 months old baby! 1)we had 5 suitcases and 3 handbags and the baby in the stroller and there was only one guy in the whole hotel to help with the luggage and he was busy when we... More

I have stayed at this hotel many times over the years and still keep returning because of it's location . Oxford street is in walking distance , when you reach street most shops are all there , but if that is too hectic there are some nice restaurants and coffee shops in St Christophers place - a small quiet heaven... If you want a hotel that is located within walking distance to everything, this is the place to stay! We arrived around 8:30 AM and were expecting to drop out bags and head out since check-in isn't until 4PM. Imagine our surprise when they checked us in right away, huge plus. The place is a bit dated but, we didn't... More

Dear Rich M Thank you for your comments. I was very pleased to read we were able to provide you with a bedroom well before our 2:00pm check in as when you are in London for a little break and with so much variety in things you can do, every second counts! I am sorry you found our pillows hard.... More

Enjoyed our stay here, the twin room was a bit on the small side and the rooms aren't as modern as the reception area. Our double room was on the 6th floor and was very spacious. Had a great nights sleep and in a nice area with close proximity to Oxford St. Would stay again!

I stayed there for a night. Checked in, no one met me outside nor helped with luggage in or checking out and even by taking them up to the room. Reception staff were not friendly at all, old furniture, weird smell, only one elevator serving around 7-8 floors. Was a really bad experience

Dear Nkhrayef, Please accept my apologies that you did not enjoy you stay at all. I am surprised that you were not assisted with your luggage as we have hall porters on 24 hours a day. Could you let me know the times that you checked in and out and the dates so I can look into why this happened.... More

The location speaks for itself - easy walking distance to Oxford Street and Bond Street, I stayed for one night and was well impressed with the standard of the room and general environment. I booked a room only deal, which was also a really good price for such a central location - and went for breakfast to one of the... More

This was my second stay at this hotel and I've really enjoyed it. I booked it through the hotel's own site and opted for the paid in advance option which is around 15% cheaper than the flexible rate. That makes it a very good deal for this central spot in London. The room was quite spacious, the service both at... More

Staying in Marylebone

Neighborhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
