Conveniently located to 2 tube stations and plenty of halal restaurants nearby. However very old building with creaking floors and narrow walkway and not soundproofed. Lift was also not reachable to all rooms which inconvenience travellers with large luggage/s. When we checked-in the porter at the time was friendly and quick to assist with our luggages but during check-out, the... More

We had ZERO problems with our stay. I was very concerned after reading some reviews, but on arrival, our room was ready for early check in. Yes everything is very tiny, but the hotel was built in the 1800s. Of course it will be small. We had a huge tub that was a lifesaver after some long days out and... More

I am sat here in bed, in one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in, paying far too much! Weird stains everywhere, booked non smoking and were put in a smoking room, bathroom disgusting, curtain broken so we shall be waking up with the sun at 5am. Awful experience, good area though. Use Airbnb, much better value. That... More

I stayed with a friend in a twin room for 4 nights. It seams your experience in this hotel depends on which room you are in. The first 2 nights our room was reasonable for the price. However on day 2 the toilet broke, which we told staff in the morning. By evening nothing had been done to fix this... More

It was a shock: 10 square meters room, with a small bed (and I'm just 5.7') and very very VERY smail bathroom (sitting on the toilet, my feet were out of the bathroom). Last but not least - the room was in the basement, from the window I could see the shoes of people walking outside. Moreover, the room was... More

I was a bit apprehensive about this hotel, after reading the numerous varied reviews. But as I needed to stay in this area, and as most other accommodation were either too expensive or had even worse reviews, I wasn't left with much choice. But I totally enjoyed my stay. I was given the Eden Suite and it was truly amazing.... More

Stayed in this hotel during a two night stay with my other half, we stayed in a well decorated room but was disappointed to find we were placed in a basement room with the windows looking out below the pavement of the high street next to us. The staff working there was very noisy at early hours and building work... More

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights when visiting London. Apart from the location I cannot say anything more positive about the hotel. The photographs on bookings.com make the hotel look lovely but it wasn't. Our room was in the basement of the hotel and was very dark and dismal. The bathroom smelt of smoke as people outside were smoking... More

This hotel has a fancy facade but inside the place is decaying, possibly from age, possibly from neglect, possibly from the occupants smoking in their rooms I am unsure. In a nutshell for the price you pay you expect it not to be great. Its in London. In a good location. That is all. The rooms are tiny, dirty and... More
