Yes the rooms are small and the lobby and common areas a bit shabby but what matters most? Cleanliness of the rooms, price and location. The rooms were small but modern and clean. A bit warm at times so not sure about AC. We opened the window. TV, coffee pot, safe. We didn't spend much time there anyway. The location... More

I stayed for 3 nights at Berjaya recently...I'd like to highlights the positives first: The location is excellent - it is literally across the road from Bayswater Underground station. You can easily get the District (or Circle) line to Westminster where Big Ben is. Also opposite the hotel is Hyde Park and a short walk away from Kensington Palace. We... More

I really didn't expect the best from this hotel, but what I got fell far short of even those modest expectations. The lift is tiny and can fit only 2 people with any form of luggage, totally inadequate for a hotel. You then negotiate what can only be described as a rabbit warren to the room. The room was very... Booked this as an Anniversary trip to London and having been in London the month before (stayed at the Tower Bridge Hotel which was great) thought we would go slightly more central, and chose this hotel as the photos etc looked good - Mistake! The central position etc and locality is fine, but the Hotel is to be blunt a... More

Location was the only good thing about this hotel. However there was many hotels that share a great location. Service was terrible. We arrived for the first time in London before our check in time so when we asked for a map it was shoved at us with no assistance at all to point out where we were. I also... More

The Hotel is very good location. Just 3 mins from Bayswater Station. Around hotel has a lot of supermarkets, chinese resturants and especially Four Season Duck. Room is not too small as we thought but toilet s is very small for shower. ( but it s not bad ) We are member of Berjaya Club so We can get good... More

The outside of the hotel is nice. The lobby was nice and the café area was also very nice to meet up as the rooms were to small. The location was the best part as it was two minutes one way to Bayswater tube station, two minutes to Hyde Park in the other direction and two minutes to cafes and shopping.... The location of Berjaya Eden Park Hotel is great. A few meters away from Bayswater Tube station and many Middle East Restaurants. The hotel looks great from the outside but the rooms tell a different story! I had a single room facing the main road were opposite is a youth hostel and their young guests were outside until past midnight... More

The actual building fronts two roads and is quite impressive. Public areas - reception and bar - are OK and initial impression is good. Going by some of the other reviews we were lucky to have a good sized room facing the road. The road is one way and not everso busy so neither traffic nor pedestrian noise was a... More

I think that if you are traveling to london you don't want to waste time in a hotel. I stayed in a room that was for a single person and it was really comfortable, I had TV service, wifi, private bathroom, safety box and heating. You can rest without problems, I had some issues with my card key and with... More

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighborhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighborhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
