The actual building fronts two roads and is quite impressive. Public areas - reception and bar - are OK and initial impression is good. Going by some of the other reviews we were lucky to have a good sized room facing the road. The road is one way and not everso busy so neither traffic nor pedestrian noise was a... More

I think that if you are traveling to london you don't want to waste time in a hotel. I stayed in a room that was for a single person and it was really comfortable, I had TV service, wifi, private bathroom, safety box and heating. You can rest without problems, I had some issues with my card key and with... More

The hotel was located in a great place and did offer a small comfortable bar with cappuccinos but the rooms were very small and the elevator could only take 2. A tip for turning on hall lights is you tactfully have to turn them on by touching them which is not something Americans would know. Our whole party had problems... More

Booked in, which was straight forward but no warm welcome. Room very small, shabby and a bathroom the size of a broom cupbaord with broken toilet seat. Breakfast was help yourself including make your own cup of tea ; mug and a tea bag! No coffee available and was not offered a Cooked breakfast by any of the staff. On... More

The location of the Berjaya Eden Park London is great - near to public transport and also Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park. It is well situated for local amenities and stands on a quiet street. However the rooms (this was after an upgrade) are pretty small, and are uncomfortably warm. Luckily we didn't need to spend time in the room... More

Love this hotel! Only a few minutes walk from Bayswater and Queensway underground stations. You have Whiteleys mall close by, I recommend it. I stay here every time I'm in London. The rooms are small but clean and everything you need. You are not in London to be in your room anyway :-)

The location is perfect. Right in the busy area of Bayswater with 2 underground stations within short walking distance. However, the furniture in the rooms are old and run down. The bathrooms are rather small with hardly any place to stand between the wash basin and the W.C. Breakfast is good and no complains on the service. Staffs are helpful... More

The hotel was safe and clean but I did not enjoy my stay. The hotel is really small, dark and smells strongly of cigaret smoke. We had a nice room but found that our hot water was temperamental due to other guests showering at the same time. The only reason I would stay here again would be the price and... More

Stayed here recently, nice hotel friendly staff and clean rooms check in was easy same with check out. Bar area nice and welcoming with an open fire, nice area to relax and unwind from the hectic city. It’s tucked away on a quiet little street near Hyde Park, just behind the hotel there is a busy street full of restaurants... More

Best place to stay due to location. Though the rooms may be a little small especially the bathrooms but a comfortable night is good here. The staff were helpful. This hotel is in between 2 subways which is so helpful. Further down you have Hyde Park. Lots of cafes, grocery shops and a mall nearby.

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighborhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighborhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
