This is a very good hotel, in a very well located area. Close to 2 tube stations, shops and loads of restaurants. We were luckily as on check in we were upgraded to a deluxe double, and this room had been recently renovated. Our ensuite had shampoo & accessories, hair drier and was a good size. Breakfast wasn't included however... More

This must be the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. If they give you room 64, you've been had. The room is smaller than a pantry, less than 10m sq. To get to the room, you need to go up a flight of stairs, down a smaller flight, then enter an elevator, going down! to the ground floor! before... More

Spent one night at this hotel on a work-cum-mini holiday trip, and while it wasn't the worse, there are certainly some areas in need of attention. Room: For starters, I was actually given a complimentary upgrade from the Classic Single to the Deluxe Double, which was much appreciated. Unfortunately, my room was located on the ground floor, with my room... More

Stayed only 1 night taking my relations back to airport following day. Parking is always an issue, eventually parked in the Queensway Underground Parking which is costly £26:00/24 Hours. Downstairs looks good, rooms very basic and small shower/bathroom.

We stayed there for one night and were really surprised (after reading the comments on this site) about the quality of the room! The room was really clean with a nice view. Bathroom was big also. People there were really polite and welcoming, and the hotel itself is really well located. 2 mins walk from the subway and Hyde Park,... More

We stayed there for 6 nights, it was OK. Staff friendly, room clean, and cleaned every day. No night noice, even if we stayed at first floor. Breakfast - Continental - was fine, there are plenty of breakfast restaurants nearby if you want to try. The view from the window was a shaft, and only if you tried hard could... More

The best thing about this hotel is the location, it's with 100m of two tube stations and right next to the high street with access to all local amenities. We stayed in room 129, a twin room on the first floor at the back of the hotel. The plus point it was next to a rarely used stairwell so apart... More

To start with a positive, the reception staff were very polite if sometimes a little too chatty amongst themselves, but generally helpful and lovely. I booked this through Agoda, and requested a twin room. The room I had was so small, you could barely get past the beds. The bathroom was even worse actually having an extra small sink as... More

Booked a classic twin room but with no air con and the windows difficult to open on a 25c day the room was hot and stuffy Threadbare curtains hardly kept light out No wifi -even in the lobby and little action from manager to assist Nice lounge but it smelt like stale curry Struggled to get the idle concierge to... Staying in Notting Hill

Neighborhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighborhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
