A family stay arranged for Christmas, my son joining us from Uni in the midlands and my daughter and her partner from Australia. Check in was very stressful, rooms not ready by 4.30, my daughter and her partner were exhausted and put in a cramped sub standard room, which I had to complain about and then they were moved. Sleep... More

* The hotel's location was the biggest advantage. * The lobby was very big and nice, but more seats should be available. * Quite fast and smooth check-in. * We had 2 executive rooms, one was very spacious even though we had an extra bed, but the other was rather small for executive. * The extra bed board was old... Arriving at Marble Arch is a dream to see the friendly doorman in a top hat! The entry foyer was very spacious with very modern statues and high tech appointments.Booking in waa a treat, as we were embarking on a Trafalgar tour,we arrived there and returned after guided trip. On return, they upgraded our room, and the king size bed... More

Booked for location stayed here many times. Huge London hotel but handy for Marble Arch and surrounds - busy outside - but nice and quiet in the room. Good shower and comfy beds! Breakfast was also not bad for a buffet. Would stay again - lots of tourists seem to stay here: so popular.

The Cumberland hotel with it's excellent location is a nice stay in central London for shopping travelers. Excellent breakfast! Excellent! The rooms after the last renovation (4 years now) are good enough.

Dear Konstantinokk, I am most pleased to read that your stay with us was an enjoyable one. Our central location being only a short stroll to Oxford Street for shopping and a short walk to the underground is also extremely useful for the London traveler. I do hope we have the pleasure of welcoming you and your family back again... More

I would like to give a special shoutout to Henrik, one of your lobby-boys. He was extremely helpful guiding me to the best food and events that were available at the time. The stay at this hotel was not to bad apart from my room having no toilet roll, the room had not been fully cleaned arriving at 3 in the morning not the type of thing I wanted to deal with and left it to the morning, when I did report it, it was resolved within 10 minutes, still I should... More

The best part about this hotel was the location. And the room size is a surprise considering that we were in central London. Service was great and the TV channels had arabic (which was not surprising) as most guests were from middle east. Overall a fantastic hotel if you are in London for Shopping.

The ground floor is an amazing modern open space. Bedrooms are compact but very stylish with all the amenities you could want. I loved the Nespresso machine! Breakfast was amazing. The normal buffet but also eggs and omelettes cooked to order if you prefer. You name it they do it and breakfast here really does set you up for the... More

Staying in Marylebone

Neighborhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
