We have just returned from a wonderful stay at The Cumberland Hotel, Marble Arch, London. We booked a 'Secret Room' thru HotelDirect and felt we just had to take the time to write a review - our first! Our whole experience was positive. I have recently had knee surgery so phoned the day before arrival to see if it might... More

We booked this hotel primarily because of the location. We wanted access to Oxford Street as well as easy access to the Palladium to watch a show. The hotel is very modern inside and the lobby area is quite impressive. We had a standard twin room for our stay and we were really pleased with the size. It was very... More

This hotel is a must stay if you are in London. Great check in, concierge, and fabulous quirky lobby. The rooms are massive, clean and beds really comfortable. Breakfast is varied, plentiful and good quality food. The hotel is so close to Marble Arch you can't miss it. Situated at the top of Oxford Street, all the best shops are... More

Great hotel for the price, very helpful staff that can't do enough for you especially when checking in. We stayed in on of there executive rooms, I wouldn't say it's worth the extra money as it was no different to our friends room that was the standard room, the bed was really comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was great with... More

If you are a great shopper like my wife+my daughter+my grand-daughter you should book a room at the Cumberland. Location is ON the Oxford street and Marble Arch. If you are theatres lover the Cumberland is located in the hurt of main traffic busses and underground lines. If you are urban traveler you can walk from the hotel to many... More

We stayed 3 nights in The Cumberland. It has all the amenities of a large hotel and staff are friendly and helpful. Its convenient location made it easy to get to the trains within a minute. Rooms are clean and comfortable although the beds are too soft for my liking. Breakfast is excellent with a great variety to choose from.... More

Reception is delightful and very efficient Then we got upstairs to a very average room. Only one chair and a window overlooking another building very close by. Sound proofing and comfort are good. But in terms of facilities it was all rather average given the price I have stayed in cheaper hotels in the West End with far better facilities.... More

I booked this room through hotelsdirect.com and it was £400 for 2 nights, which even for London is very expensive. Firstly the positives...Free good quality wifi throughout the hotel, this for me though should be 101 for all hotels in this digital world that we now live in. Friendly reception, amazing public areas and restaurant for breakfast and the breakfast... More
