The Cumberland Marble Arch has a side entrance onto Oxford Street with shops such as Marks and Spencer's, Selfridges and Primark. Checking in was a breeze and we were soon off to our room and our cases followed soon after. The room was excellent, and being at the rear there was no problem with noise. Lighting was excellent with good... More

Excellent location, 10 seconds walk from the tube/marble arch/ pall mall/ oxford street etc. best breakfast ever with loads of choice, massive beds. One downside- limited tea/ coffee / biscuits in room and no spoon to stir !! Massive reception area, loads of lifts

In the hub of a vibrant, bustling fast-paced metropolis, the friendly professional service, quality of accommodation and provision of a delicious full breakfast in The Cumberland Marble Arch, prefaced a wonderful introduction to London and England. Considering the size and quantity of travellers using the hotel, we were delighted that any requests we made, were met with prompt and efficient speed.... More

I've just come back from a stay at the cumberland hotel. I booked this as part of a birthday weekend celebration. I had booked the romance package as it was a good £100 cheaper than a standard stay but included chocolates, champagne and breakfast. Only £179 for a standard double. As it was a birthday booking they upgraded us to... More

We stayed in the Cumberland last Saturday night. We were met by a very nice young lady called Paula who checked us in immediately & duly upgraded our us to an executive room on the 5th floor, which was very quiet & overlooked Marble Arch. The location of the hotel couldn't be any better, shopping within a few minutes walk... More

Not sure how The Cumberland has got a 4 star rating, over all very nice but disappointed at the room size and general appearance. You dont expect flaking paintwork, ripped curtains and cracked tiles for this cost. Staff were very good throughout, breakfast was amazing and the lobby area stunning, but the most important part (the room) was a disappointment.... More

I booked this hotel based on its location near Marble Arch and Oxford Street. The underground station for Marble Arch is basically next door to the hotel. The hotel is located at the end of Oxford Street, so there are plenty of shopping opportunities and places to eat. The room was surprisingly quiet for the centre of London, although the... More

We stayed for four days, and the best thing about the hotel is its location. It is located on Oxford street and right on top of an underground station. Make sure to ask for a room next to the elevator as the hotel's corridors are built as a labyrinth. The rooms are quite small with very little space for the... More

Dear Reviewer, I am most pleased to read that your stay with us was an enjoyable one. Our central location being only a short stroll to Oxford Street for shopping and a short walk to the underground is also extremely useful for the London traveller. I do hope we have the pleasure of welcoming you back again in the future,... More
