Awesome property. Becomes even better when people like Claudia at the front desk take care of you in the perfect manner possible. Definitely rate 5 stars for her. Right from reservations to room allocations to upgrades(paid but courteous) to sincerity, superb. Definitely advise.

This hotel seems to definitely have some attraction to it & is the busiest hotel I have stayed at in central London by far. The hotel is located near to Hyde Park which is a welcome from the hustle & bustle of the capital. The hotel has a modern feel to it with interesting sculptures located in the reception/foyer area.... More

Stayed here for 1 night and it is in a great location next to Marble Arch tube station and Oxford Street for shopping. Staff were welcoming upon check in and the lobby area is impressive. The room was comfortable and I had a great night's sleep despite my room facing the main road. The extra touches were lovely including complimentary... More

I have enjoyed staying at The Cumberland for many years now - the Front Desk Staff and those in the private Executive Lounge are really excellent, so friendly and helpful. Our last visit was really marred by the hopeless unfriendly staff handling luggage - we had left our wheelchair with them rather than clutter our room - when checking out... More

I have been staying in this hotel since 2006 and I still love it. I used to work in London for a year close to the Cumberland but still when I am in London for leisure or business my first choice is the Cumberland, it is a great location, good service, great rooms and good restaurants, also conveniently close to... Situated opposite Marble Arch, both Oxford Street and Hyde Park are just a step away. The hotel is also next to underground station Marble Arch (Central Line), so you can easily visit the spots in Londen that are further away. The hotel has good equiped rooms and are very comfortable. The perfect spot to stay for your shopping and sightseeing... More

After a long day of work was very interesting to refer to this wonderful hotel, starting from the entrance and the staff smile and quiet music that soothes the nerves and it makes you feel still in your home and that everyone around you are not strangers about you and also designs very wonderful . i will return this year

One night stay at the Cumberland Marble Arch as attending a formal dinner in town. - Best price through a late booking with Low cost holidays including credit card charge was approx £165 for an "Executive room" (without breakfast). Confusion with IT at check in as to whether my room had been paid for in advance (it had) was not... More

Staying in Marylebone

Neighborhood Profile
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
