Great location and very clean rooms good size. The only thing was being woken up at 9am by the cleaner which obviously was a mistake. A nice touch was a bottle of wine in the room for birthday thank you

Great location and great service. Located near Hyde part and Marylbone and easy access to anywhere in Central London. Great restaurants nearby specially if you're on business, and don't have time to look too far away for nice places to eat. The staff were super nice and helpful, and went out of their way to help me given my schedule... More

I stayed at The Cumberland whilst on business in London. The hotel's location is excellent, but its location is not matched by the hotel overall. The hotel lobby is spacious and airy and the check in team are friendly and efficient. I was a bit dissapointed with my room; it was plain and a little drab. Breakfast is a little... More

Always stay here when in London on business as the location and facilities are great. Extra points for all rooms having small fridges for guests to use themselves in addition to some of the best quality bed linen and bedding I've found in almost any hotel. Only downside is that rooms facing inwards typically have poor mobile phone signal

We stayed there for 3 nights, location is very close to Oxford street, and just next to the Marble Arch tube station. Although room is rather small, it is well maintained and in good condition. Wifi is available including in the room and is free.

Excellent location but rooms are disappointing - old and poorly decorated. Bathroom had obvious mould. Renovations have been done in the public areas which are modern. Breakfast is very busy (expect to queue) but there is a huge range to choose from and service was efficient.

When the Cumberland refurbished it was stylish. On a recent stay it has gone downhill a bit. Cup in my room was dirty but what I cannot understand is the wooden hut masquerading as a beer keller on the ground floor. It looks ridiculous and cheap. The wooden chairs are hopeless to sit on and its a total waste. Come... More

Great location - but that is it. Otherwise it was noisy, rooms weird space-wasting design, noisy air conditioning; no black-out window blinds. Breakfast was noisy and the food was very poor. Too many smokers hanging around the entrance - quite disgusting. Not a relaxing place to stay at all. Did not get a decent night's sleep. Exhausted when we left... More

Staying in Marylebone

Neighborhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
