I recently had the chance to stay at the Knightbridge hotel during the holidays and had a pleasurable and comfortable stay. The hotel was different from what I normally stay at in Asia. It was smaller, comfortable and charming...it felt like going to a large Inn. The room was small, but nicely appointed. The staff were quite accommodating. I was... More

Just spent four nights at the Knightsbridge. The location is terrific -- close to the V&A, Brompton Road shops and the tube. Our room was spacious and bright, even though one of the windows overlooked the Harrod's carpark. The bed was wonderful and the linens and towels were the best. The staff was helpful and friendly and the drawing room... More

Wow, talk about excellence – excellent property, excellent room, excellent location, and above all, a most excellent and attentive staff. That’s the Knightsbridge Hotel in London. Maybe I just needed to rest, but I didn’t want to get out of the comfortable bed, didn’t want to leave my quiet room, could have relaxed and read all day... As others have... More

Had the pleasure of spending several nights in this fabulous property on a recent visit to London. My room was beautiful -- creatively decorated, lots of space, 3 floor to ceiling windows and a wonderfully comfortable king bed. I loved the overall look and feel of the hotel. The staff was extremely accommodating and helpful and the General Manager was... More

Stayed for just one night recently booking via a well known search site. Chose a deluxe room which had just about the most comfortable bed and bedding ever. Only the top New York hotel beds come close. Great location as in the middle of so many shops and restaurants, but far enough away tucked in a private cul-de-sac for it... More

I love the decoration of this beautiful hotel. It's a small hotel and you get the feeling you're in a townhouse. I loved the common areas as well as the rooms. The amenities in the room are great. The view from our room was very cute. The staff at reception was very friendly. I'd definitely come back and I will... More

Tucked in charming Beaufort Gardens cul de sac yet only a 2 minute walk to Harrods, Sloane Street & Harvey Nichols this charming boutique hotel has huge charm. Friendly staff, well appointed bedrooms & very quiet. It's chic, accessible and whilst pricey, not overly expensive. Watch out: breakfast room is tiny so whilst the food is good (expensive & coffee... More

Little comfortable hotel in an expensive part of London famous as shopping destination. Refined decor especially in the lounges. Problems: in 2 consecutive occasion waited 45 minutes for room service rather than 25 declared but more seriously paid £4.50 for a Nespresso coffee made by myself in the lounge (in most hotel of same category nowadays you would find a... This is a very nice hotel a few blocks from Harrods on a nice quiet street. It has a lounge area with a very well stocked honor bar. I booked a room that was supposed to be deluxe. They advertise city views for all room types, which is totally misleading and in fact not true. This is a five story... More

Staying in Knightsbridge

Neighborhood Profile
Knightsbridge
When millions of tourists want to shop 'til they drop, they do it along Brompton Road and its boutique-lined tributaries, including the world-renowned Harrods. And when millionaires want to flaunt what they've already got, many of them find Knightsbridge and Belgravia the perfect place to do so, often behind stately mansion walls or down quiet private mews. Delve beyond the ultra-luxe exterior and you'll find some of this city's cosiest pubs, quiet gardens, and all sorts of indie retailers and enterprises worth a short exercise in spontaneous window shopping. For those looking to take a break from shopping, Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, and some of the city's most popular museums are nearby.
