This is a stylish property, in a quiet side street, in the heart of Knightsbridge. Everything is done with good taste and the rooms, while small and very compact (some have quit low ceilings), are extremely well appointed and spotless. Therevis not attended bar, but a small honesty bar. Staff is young, cheerful and helpful. The only negative is that... More

My family had come over from Australia and I wanted to treat them to classic English afternoon tea. I found a deal for afternoon tea at this hotel where it would just be £18pp. Unfortunately I couldn't book a time over the phone so just turned up ahead of my family by 10mins to see if the hotel could fit... I travel a lot for business and pleasure and Knightsbridge Hotel is one of my absolute favorites. The interior is beautiful, the service excellent and the rooms - each having it's own unique design - are stunning! + beds and bed linen are amazing + English breakfast at it's best + Feels like being in a home rather than in... This was the best afternoon tea I have ever had. The staff were welcoming and friendly on arrival and attentive throughout. A traditional selection of finger sandwiches to start followed by warm scones with clotted cream and jam. The selection of cakes was amazing though and all fullsize. There were four cakes/ paistries each , two chocolate and two fruit... More

Very good place. Quiet location- walking distance to high end shops and Harrods in Knightsbridge. Staff very helpful; I mentioned my desire to print my boarding pass, and Adam volunteered to do it for me. He did and helped me get an upgrade on my flight at the same time. My room, 505 was clean, everything worked (no missing switches,... More

My daughter had booked this hotel as a surprise for my Birthday. Located so close to my favourite shop Harrods so was a perfect Hotel. Loved the room it was modern with fantastic material pin stripe wallpaper. Enjoyed the little touches - lovely scented candle and the relaxing spray. Will definitely stay again.

The hotel is expensive and the rooms are small, but the location is great and the staff is friendly and excellent. It is also a bit trendier/modern that I generally prefer, but I would definitely stay here again. They do not have a restaurant, but there are other restaurants nearby, and they have a kitchen for room service or eating... More

What can I say about this hotel. First, I would call it a boutique hotel. It doesn't have an unlimited amount of rooms like the Hilton (and Paris). The service is personal, they don't breath on your neck as in some hotels and it's all very relaxed, apart from sometimes the loud American tourist that needs to be heard throughout... More

It's the quality of service, friendliness and little touches of efficiency that make all the difference at the Knightsbridge. The photos don't do the design elements justice. An excellent honesty bar and great breakfasts. The location is perfect for shoppers and V&A devotees. Ample outlets, including a U.S. outlet, marble baths, turn down service, free wifi that always works (!),... More

London hotels have been disappointing over the years but the Firmdale touch has restored my faith. The Knightsbridge Hotel offers a sublime bolthole in a perfect location. The staff are welcoming and immediately recognise us each time we depart and arrive. The lounge areas are intimate and the honesty bar allows one to believe that the hotel is 'home'. The... More

Staying in Knightsbridge

Neighborhood Profile
Knightsbridge
When millions of tourists want to shop 'til they drop, they do it along Brompton Road and its boutique-lined tributaries, including the world-renowned Harrods. And when millionaires want to flaunt what they've already got, many of them find Knightsbridge and Belgravia the perfect place to do so, often behind stately mansion walls or down quiet private mews. Delve beyond the ultra-luxe exterior and you'll find some of this city's cosiest pubs, quiet gardens, and all sorts of indie retailers and enterprises worth a short exercise in spontaneous window shopping. For those looking to take a break from shopping, Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, and some of the city's most popular museums are nearby.
