I stayed at this hotel with a friend hoping for a comfortable place to come to after some serious shopping and dining in London. I have to say that all the staff bar one tried to be helpful and accommodating but the hotel itself was really disappointed. Our hopes for that comfy room were dashed when we were shown into... After realising that Premier Inns and so-on were £140 pounds for a double room, we decided to look elsewhere. This hotel came up at £95 (not incl breakfast) Booking on the phone was straightforward. They didn't send a confirmation email though which would have been helpful to have the details printed-off. The nearest Tube stations are Chalk Farm (8 mins... More

I don't think I can articulate just how bad this place is without using foul language (which would go along with the smell from the bedroom I stayed in) The food is about the best thing - and I wouldn't give it to my dog. Thankfully I only had booked one night and I am hopeful that it will only... More

Booked for a one night stay as attending a gig at the Roundhouse - about a ten minute walk. First impressions isn't great - old yellow curtains at the window, and a tired looking hotel but didn't look too bad as you go through. Check in was ok, but overhearing a guest on the phone complaining about how awful the... More

Stayed there visiting Hospital, hotel was awful, all fire doors had wedges behind them struggled to find an english person working there, lift was out of action all throughout stay, blocks of would holding up the toilet waste pipe, very hot in downstairs rooms, Breakfast was dried but warm, need money investing in it.

Stayed here for 2 nights. It was cheapish.... first room the heating did not work. The second and third were smoking rooms. The hotel tour finally ended with a room on first floor. Bed and furniture well past sell by date. Tv from the 80's very bad picture.... not for me again.

An old hotel, with dated rooms, tatty cheap furniture and uncomfortable beds. Exterior is poor, reception is really dated, filthy windows, tiny bathroom, poor shower, not much hot water... You get the general idea- a portable heater, smelly rooms, hairs in bath, peeling wall paper... Breakfast was laughable- tinned mushrooms and tomatoes. Sausages looked like they had no meat in... Can't really complain since work paid for my visit, but the hotel itself has so much unrealised potential. Nice sized room with a big en suite bathroom, however most of the fittings and fixtures were tired and worn. There was no window in my room which made it quite warm and poorly lit. The desk fan cooled the room down,... More

I booked this hotel through superbreaks.com. I arrived at the hotel at 11:00 and was told I was not able to check in until 14:00. I was told I could leave my luggage (small weekend bag - Gucci of course :)) in the luggage room opposite reception. I went out for some lunch and shopping and around 4pm I called... More
