Not worth it. We got a room at the 5th floor without elevator. Also, all receipts are written manually because they "don't have the technology" to use the printer on the table. The halls smell like mold and there was no hair dryer in the bathroom. We ended up changing hotels. Kings Hotel was absolutely horrible.

I always stay in budget hotels in London and so far have not had a bad experience but this place was bad! The room was dirty, previous occupant's rubbish still in cupboards, bathroom radiator had inches of dust in it. The breakfast was a joke, it took the idea of 'self service' to a whole new level - once a... More

place for students traveling first time to London (with low budget places in mind),to expensive for a hostel, we were lucky to get relatively clean room but climbing to 5th floor no fun at all !!!!, be aware there is NO ELAVATOR in the building ,very, very basic breakfast front desk pleasant, still not enough , just because it was... We booked this hotel via booking.com due to its location and price as we went to London to a gig in Hyde Park. We didn't want to spend a lot as it was literally a bed for the night. We didn't read the other trip advisor reviews until months after we had booked, I won't lie I was a little... More

Be carefull if you want to go to this hotel. In fact it Is a hostel, extra cost if you pay with card, a deposit if you need the remite control for the TV!! The breakfast was terrible and the staff extremely rude. Totally non-recommemded! Avoid it!

We were fearing the worst after reading some of the reviews of this Hotel, however as we only wanted a one-night stay at a reasonable price decided to take a chance on the Kings Hotel. We were very pleasantly surprised - the location for out trip was perfect. Just over 5 mins from Paddington Station by Taxi, we had booked... More

Location was great to get to central London. Hyde Park round the corner is always a bonus, especially when the weather is good. The staff were very helpful down to the minute details. They gave great information on what buses to get to central London and what was best to see whilst in London. I'll definitely be coming back to... More

Many budget hotels in London to choose from but sadly most of these too come with very poor reviews! We booked at a peak weekend time and found this to be a reasonable priced hotel - cheaper than staying at a hostel even, the reviews were pretty poor but we didn't have much choice and it was an ideal location...
