Apartment itself was very clean and comfortable, nicely decorated etc and the compact but fully kitted out little kitchen was a very handy feature. Bedroom can be made with 2 single beds and there's a very good sized double sofa bed so it's possible to sleep up to 4 people without feeling crowded. Location is excellent - short walk from... I was travelling with my adult son & daughter & wanted a place where we could have a little space - the one bedroom 2-story suite was great - complete kitchen, everything very clean. When we were there the laundry room was out of commission so the staff offerred free dry cleaning. We found it easy walking to the tube... More

Great location. A little small for three adults and one child. I think the apartments are perfect for a couple traveling. The apartments are clean although the corridors/public areas could do with a spruce up - they're rather dark and dingy and a little smelly at times. Also our bathroom would have benefited from a bit of a spruce up.... More

We stayed 4 nights in London and had trouble finding a good hotel that suits our needs as we were traveling with our 2-years old daughter. The 1-bedroom apt. was the perfect solution for us and in a very reasonable rate (we checked almost 20 hotels before booking...). The apartment has two floors and this separation was very comfortable. The... More

Me and my wife stayed in the citadines with our 1.4 years old boy for four nights. We liked the room very much , the kitchen is very well equipped and near there is a big branch of whole food market so we could get a lot of nice products for breakfast. Staying near the park is a great advantage... More

I needed a place to stay with my in laws for just one night as the 3 of us were attending a concert at Hammersmith Apollo. Citadines Kensington was perfect for one night. We had a one bedroomed appartment on the 6th floor which seemed newly refurbished and was very clean, not massive but on 2 floors. It was equipped... More

We have 7 people, stayed 3 nights. Staff are cold without smile, the elevator to the 6 floor is always in bad status, and very dangerous. No washer, but the staff kept telling clients;" wahser will be here tomorrow", we stayed there from Sept 5 to Sept 8, when we came back to pick up our storaged luggages on Sept... More

Thank you for your feedback. While I am happy to note that you found our location convenient, my team and I are sorry for not having met your expectations during your recent stay. While our staff are trained to deliver the highest standards in customer service, unfortunately, we did not do that well in this particular area during your stay.... More

Spent 5 nights at this hotel. Despite other reviews, found staff great. Room is a bit on the cozy side, but very functional. Kitchen was very nice addition. Would be nice if there was a table to eat at. Sandwich shop across the road was a great find. Always busy, but when you see their prices you understand why. Short... More

I stayed here for a week and it was great. The rooms are cozy for one or two people. I used the kitchenette a lot, which helped save on eating out all the time. Of course there plenty of great cafes in the area. Close to the Gloucester Road underground station, so get a week long pass and travel anywhere... More

I wish there were a category between "Average" and "Very Good" because I'd rather give this a "Good" rating. Honestly, there was nothing to complain about. It was a service apartment that did its job. The lobby area has comfortable sofas but the atmosphere does not otherwise invite one to linger. The apartment itself was clean and decently sized given... More

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
