Nice hotel , clean , large enough for families, great location. Kitchen had all amenities but no stove available. Customer service at front desk was lousy. When you asked questions about the hotel or surrounding facilities, we were told to check the internet??

Great location and good quality accoodation. Staff were helpful and the free coffee and water is a very nice touch. Only issue is accomodation is a little tired and tight for a family but that is not unusual for London.

Stayed in an executive studio when visiting London. Location's excellent - 10 min walk from the tube which is on the Piccadilly line making it easy to get to from Heathrow. The area has plenty of good restaurants and cafes and Waitrose and a 24-hour Tesco are within easy walking distance (shopping trollies are available from hotel reception). Particularly recommend... Liked the location in a quiet area, short walk to tube, grocery store and sandwich shops around the corner, 24 hour coffee/hot chocolate in lobby. Room could sure use a coat of paint, but otherwise clean enough with nice room service each day. Downstairs fold out couch in apartment was uncomfortable. We needed a property where we could do laundry... More

Clean, well situated, good value for money. The staff were lovely. The extractor fan in 307 is filthy but the rest of the room was lovely. On one night one of the rooms near us had a very strong smell of cannabis coming from it. I would recommend it as a well situated place to stay in London.

This spot is the perfect place to stay if you want privacy, peace and quiet and good service in a lovely neighborhood. Not too far to walk to many sites yet in a neighborhood setting. Near the "tube" for travel.

Stayed here as a family of three in a studio on our visit to London to see Taylor Swift. First of all the hotel is in a lovely, safe part of London and a five minute walk from the tube station. It is close to Albert hall, Hyde park, Knightsbridge and is in an area with wonderful pavement cafés and... More

it was well positioned and clean. The stairs were very narrow and the fold out sofa was very uncomfortable. The bed upstairs was however good. Great little kitchenette including dishwasher. A short walk to shops, cafes etc and also short walk to Kensington Palace.

The Citadines in South Kensington is a charming welcoming apartment hotel which has all the facilities you need. From wine bottle opener over warm steady stream shower and a fridge beating my own. We had our first slush Beer here because of the cold fridge! The neighborhood has all you need from a friendly family pub, a very affordable sandwich... More

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
