Stayed here as a family of three in a studio on our visit to London to see Taylor Swift. First of all the hotel is in a lovely, safe part of London and a five minute walk from the tube station. It is close to Albert hall, Hyde park, Knightsbridge and is in an area with wonderful pavement cafés and... More

it was well positioned and clean. The stairs were very narrow and the fold out sofa was very uncomfortable. The bed upstairs was however good. Great little kitchenette including dishwasher. A short walk to shops, cafes etc and also short walk to Kensington Palace.

The Citadines in South Kensington is a charming welcoming apartment hotel which has all the facilities you need. From wine bottle opener over warm steady stream shower and a fridge beating my own. We had our first slush Beer here because of the cold fridge! The neighborhood has all you need from a friendly family pub, a very affordable sandwich... More

Stayed here for three weeks in May and June 2015. The location is excellent close to museums and shopping and the tube. The room was very comfortable and appeared to have been fairly recently renovated. The kitchen while small had everything I required. Staff (especially Zoe and Sarah) were very helpful and pleasant. When I first arrived I went into... More

My mom and I stayed here for four night, and were very happy with our experience. We received a warm welcome from the staff upon arrival, and during our stay they were more than happy to help us with whatever we needed. The hotel is located about a five-minute walk from the Gloucester Road tube station, from which three underground... More

Excellent location, easy walking access to tube, Hyde park, Kensington palace, V & A museum. Nice little shopping area outside the front door. Clean and very spacious room, reception staff always happy to help. Made for a very pleasant stay. Would stay there again.

We stayed for 7 nights in May. This is the perfect location to base yourself in London. Tube station a 5 min walk and 10 mins into london centre. Great to get away from the hustle and bustle and live like a local with the pubs and restaurants near by. The accomodation is very good. Quiet and everything you need.... More

I have stayed at Citadines probably 5 times in the last 15 or so years. In days gone by it was an economical way to visit London and be in a well-connected spot. One accepted modest rooms. This trip on business and for holiday was the first time in five years. Booked five months prior, it was still in excess... More

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
