Lets start with the positives. Location is great. Its walking distance to St. Paul's. There is a Waitrose and Tesco express nearby. The Museum of London is walking distance away, its also a good museum. You get wireless access as standard. Each room is well equipped with a fridge, microwave and grill, dishwasher and cooker. The provision of dishwasher washing... More

Stayed at this hotel recently for a conference at the Barbican centre. Booked on location and price and was pleasantly surprised. The rooms are small with a pull down double bed that once down does restrict space in the room but wasn't a problem for me as I was rarely there.

We stayed just one night at the hotel, to see a concert at the Barbican Centre, and everything was just perfect. The location was ideal, a short walk from the tube station, and you couldn't get much closer to the Barbican Centre. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is modern, spotlessly clean throughout. Security is good: you... More

Stayed at this hotel last night (16th March). Location is excellent, price is good, hotel is clean and staff friendly. Our room was a lovely surprise. Clean, fresh and had everything we needed and more. A Tesco's is just down the road so made use of the kitchen at breakfast. Our room was facing the main road and had no... More

I have stayed at this hotel on a number of occasion previous and was always reasonably happy with the service. But every time I have stayed with them I have had to request additional cooking utensils as most rooms have little cooking equipment and it seems to be the normal rather than the exception that these are only sent up... It is hard to find a hotel in London that won't severely damage your wallet. With Citadines Barbican you get exactly what you pay for. I had a normal sized room with a small kitchen (which I didn't use) and a bathroom with a bath. It was all I needed. The staff are friendly. When I was unable to connect... More

I wasn't expecting much based on the description of a studio room that needed the bed pulling out of the wall but I was very pleasantly surprised. A large studio room with a well equipped kitchen, a little hall with a wardrobe, iron and safe and a good sized bathroom with nice shower gel for hair washing too. There is... More

Stayed here for one night whilst visiting my grandad for his 90th birthday. My dad uses these apartments for business and got a vastly reduced price for our family, so I can't comment on the pricing but the location is pretty good, a few steps from the tube. We travelled to Chelsea to see my grandad (he's not super rich,... More

I spent 2 days in this apartment hotel is just along from the barbican station. I went here because it was the nearest cheapest hotel for my training course, where I was on a training course. I made a mistake, first problem once a pulled down the bed from the wall was locating the pillow, I found one, squashed along... More
