Two night visit taking in opera at Albert Hall. Great location worth upgrade to front facing executive room for stunning views of Kensington Gardens/Hyde Park and beyond. Very efficient and friendly reception happy to advise on transport options and local area. Breakfast was very good and varied buffet style options again with very efficient service. Rooms are recently refurbished, clean and... More

I am currently staying at Kensington Gardens Hotel with two kids (age 12&13) in a 3-bedroom. The room is really nice, far superior to what I had imagined knowing that the hotel standard in London is generally lower than elsewhere. I had even warned about extremely small rooms for instance. This room is however fairly spacious. The beds are rather... More

A simple place, but fantastic service. I was an idiot and left something in my room after I left. They searched high and low for it and found it for me. They posted it back to me. As it said, a simple place, nothing fancy, but clean and in a great location with incredibly helpful staff.

Although I thought booked a en-suite single room for 2 nights, was allocated a double bed on the top floor. Cost £69 per night. Room 3 had a single layer window, looking out to the back. Bed was fairly comfortable and the Samsung freeview TV was good. The bathroom was not bad with a shower inside the bath but the... More

Great service! Very kind and warm-hearted owner. When we were disappointed about the family room in the basement, the owner gave us two very nice rooms at the third floor the next day. She also gave us a lot of tips on city trips.

I only stayed one night in a standard room at 66 pounds. I ended up on the top floor which was a result of booking a week prior to arrival. It was my fault and certainly gave me exercise, dragging my suitcase up those multiple flights of stairs; the offer was made for the porter to take my luggage up... More

Hotel was well located and easy to find and the setting was peaceful however on arrival we had to use the reception of the hotel next door (Phoenix) and the 2 girls on reception where not the most helpful. The entrance hallway was shabby with worn carpets and this theme continued into the room. The room was in need of... More

I wanted a super cheap hotel, as an alternative to a hostel. This was the highest rated which cost <£120, in actuality I paid £66 for a single room for a Saturday night. Good location for central London and Paddington station; accessible via Queensway or Bayswater. No problems getting in at night, reception closes 6pm so you have to press... More

Great location. Booked a twin room - given a room with one bed which was placed against a wall and a minuscule bathroom. Staff just shrugged and implied we were lucky to be in London. We had to find another hotel at short notice - turned into an expensive holiday as Kensington Gardens refused to refund money despite not fulfilling... More
