Me and my partner arrived at the hotel mid-day to drop our bags off. We arrived at 10 and were able to check in early. Clean room, and bathroom. Great location to bay's water tube station. Room was quite small but that was expected. We were made to feel very welcome. Overall very nice stay and breakfast the next day... More

Didn't expect much when we booked this hotel - me and my mum were just planning to use it as a base while spending a few days in London, but it was far better than we expected! The hotel is like a simple 'anex' to a bigger posher hotel next door called the Phoenix. It had everything we needed though,... More

Amazing location in a wonderful neighborhood. Within close walking distance to two tube stations and Kensington Park. Outstanding value, nice rooms, friendly staff, good breakfast. We will stay here again.

I stayed at this small, quaint hotel for two nights while on business in London. I chose it mainly because it was situated near where I was working, but was pleasantly surprised at its great location. For a fun visit to London, I highly recommend it. The front desk staff was always ready to provide advice and tips. They added... More

Very nice little Hotel situated 2 min walk from Bayswater (circle line) or 5 min walk from Queenswater (central line) tubes which means you can hit more or less most of London within 15 min. The surrounding area is safe in nighttime, so no worries there. Theres a ton of restaurants nearby, nothing fancy, but you should be able to... More

This hotel is situated just around the corner from Bayswater tube station and is a 2 minute walk further down the same road to Queensway Tube station - brilliant! Also Queensway road is just studded with restaurants and takeaways including a pharmacy, supermarkets, bureau de Change and a mall. So you're never far from what you may need - on... More

Stayed at the Kensington for nearly 3 weeks whilst looking for accommodation in London. Its your classic tall London townhouse, no lift so if steps not your thing maybe request a low floor room. The rooms are not massive, and the shower basically a cupboard but works well. The room was well presented the TV & Wi-fi both worked fine.... More

We stayed here for one night and we were very happy! The lady on reception was very friendly and helpful! Our room was on the third floor, it was nice and clean. Only thing is there is no lift so if you can't manage stairs make sure you request a lower floor room! The location was really good too, 2... More

I checked in early in the day after traveling for more than 24 hours and I was tired. Reception was very welcoming and helped my friend and I carry our suitcases up the three flights of stairs. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The windows did not seem to open as much as I would have liked but at least... More

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighborhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighborhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
