Stayed here 3 nights for business, bit taken aback at first as room (executive single) was very small, but bed was a double and room, although small was well designed and had all amenities, except somewhere comfortable to sit. Was on 4th (top) floor and ceiling was only 6 ft 6 in, so a bit cave like. Breakfast was very... More

I stayed here overnight recently. Location was good as it was close to the USA embassy and got a good deal. Service was excellent, very attentive without intruding and anticipated my needs. The room window could open which is a big bonus for me, no view, but good air circulation. Massive big bathroom. Didn't feel like eating on my own... More

Stayed there in Jan 2015 with my wife and 1 year old daughter. Excellent location ,seconds away from oxford street . Reasonable price for london. I usually do not write reviews but felt that I should in this case as I wanted to thank Mr Gamal at the front desk who was particularly very helpful, friendly and always had a smile... More

I nearly always stay at this friendly boutique- style hotel . It's not large but the rooms are comfy clean warm and perfectly adequate for a business overnighter or shopping trip in the west end. The hotel is placed a 2 min walk behind Oxford Street. I am known here and the staff are charming and helpful and always welcome... More

I was staying in Radisson Blu Edwardian Sussex for business purposes. Location is what I like the most about this hotel, but service was also extremely friendly. Rooms are clean and the in room wifi worked super. Bed was comfy and I had what I needed for one night. Now during winter, I felt that the room was a bit... More

Mixed experience - I would summarise it as generally the staff are very friendly and helpful, but are really hampered by the hotel itself. Check in was friendly but rather slow as there are only 2 desks and the process seems to tak a while. My room was cold and despite having the in room air con thingy at max,... More

Staying in Marylebone

Neighborhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
