Our room (booked over a month before) wasn't ready when we arrived early, so we went for a meal. When we came back there was no 'executive' room available (which we had booked and paid for) so we were offered a double. On going upstairs it was already occupied! We were then told by the most uncommunicative receptionists on earth... More

Booked hotel through TRAVELZOO and had an Executive double with breakfast for a very reasonable price. The hotel is well postioned for Hyde Park and the underground . Check in at the hotel was quick and efficient. Our room was on the tenth floor which I had hoped would give excellent views across London , however it actually had two... More

We stayed 3 nights here in an Executive Double room. (Room 1002) We had an excellent deal, much cheaper than nearby hotels. The room was a nice size, well worth paying the extra for. Rooms were clean, the bed was ok, bathroom was a nice size too. The staff were friendly. We didnt eat in the restaurant, as £15 for... More

Hotel is just average, reasonably clean, food is average and overpriced. staff are average ok if you just want average. I have stayed here a few times as it's handy for work but wouldn't stay here for leisure. Bathrooms are ridiculously tiny and so are most of the bedrooms.

I stayed at the Corus for three nights. The first night I stayed in a single room and the next two joined a friend who had booked a double room for us to share. My single room was small but not cramped and very clean. I felt very safe staying alone. The room I shared with my friend was quite... More

My dad found and chosed Corus hotel to spent holidays in London for me and my mother, my aunt and my cousin. We booked two rooms for three nights from 19th Aug. But on our last night in Corus Hotel, it was so ashamed for me and my mother to stay there. I called on reception late night after 12... More

Dear Patricia946 Thank you for your feedback regarding your recent stay at Corus Hotel Hyde Park. We appreciate you taking the time. Regarding appointing the guests to be seated in the lobby is so that you did not have to wait at Reception while our staff tried to provide you with a new hair dryer, this was only to add... More

Where to start.... as you walk in the lobby it gives the impression of a really smart hotel, that's where it ends!!! We tried booking in to our rooms (2 double standard) in the afternoon to be told they weren't available, not a problem we left our bags and went off site seeing for the day and returned at 530,... Before you dismiss my headline as hyperbole , read on ..... back in june I booked an exec room for our August stay. On the day, we arrived at 12noon, knowing we would not be able to check in, but we asked to leave our bags as we were going on to theatre and dinner. The chap on the desk... More

I have just come back from a 3 night stay in the Corus . Having read other reviews I made a prior request for a quiet spacious room as we were celebrating my wife,s birthday. The room we were allocated was really spacious and quiet. On our return to our room after a day in the city we surprised to... More

I must say, of all the hotels I have stayed in, this was the absolute worst. Firstly, we'd requested a room with two double beds and were reassured that we would be given such. Upon arrival, we discovered that this was most certainly not the case. The hotel room was dreadful in size, and the room was far too small... More
