We stayed at the Parks Hotel, after a long flight across the Atlantic. Being so tired, we were kept awake through the early morning hours until approximately 2 Am from a very noisy and boisterous party going on down the hall. The walls were paper thin. The staff did absolutely nothing to help because they were no where to be... More

It has been 9 years since I stayed here. It was an incredible experience. The hotel was fully booked except for 1 large suite. They offered me a discount due to scaffolding on the the facade for renovations. The service and suite were the best I had ever seen in 20 years of traveling. Upon my departure, I presented the... My husband and I have stayed at Parkes Hotel several times over the past few years. Each time we have planned a trip which included a stay in London, we have contacted Parkes immediately to ensure that we could have a room. The staff at the hotel have been constant throughout our time there and are always extremely friendly and... More

In the last year, we have stayed at Parkes about 6 times and are due to go back in September. Sadly, from an email we and other guests will have received, 30 Sept will be the last night that guests will stay as the lease on the building has run out and the landlord is turning the property into more... Cannot fault this hotel. Staff everywhere very friendly, the rooms are large and well appointed and of course very clean. Amazing mini bar, enough drinks to have a party with 50 people. Best thing is hotel is round the corner from Harrods, H.Nicks and Sloan Street, with great walks round Belgravia and Chelsea. Great little Thai restaurant in Beauchamp Place... More

From the moment we decided we would like to stay at the Parkes we couldn't have wished for better service. All the details of our stay were so lovingly arranged. We arrived early so we could take full advantage of our stay in the capital and on arrival our ajoining rooms were already available. With our two children with us... More

We stayed here for one night to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary. Absolutely loved it! Could not have asked for anything more. We arrived early (11am), not expecting our room to be ready but the lovely lady on reception said we could go on up. She also said they had arranged a surprise for us. We had booked a standard... Staying in Knightsbridge

Neighborhood Profile
When millions of tourists want to shop 'til they drop, they do it along Brompton Road and its boutique-lined tributaries, including the world-renowned Harrods. And when millionaires want to flaunt what they've already got, many of them find Knightsbridge and Belgravia the perfect place to do so, often behind stately mansion walls or down quiet private mews. Delve beyond the ultra-luxe exterior and you'll find some of this city's cosiest pubs, quiet gardens, and all sorts of indie retailers and enterprises worth a short exercise in spontaneous window shopping. For those looking to take a break from shopping, Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, and some of the city's most popular museums are nearby.
