Had a late lunch here - veggie for me. Tofu steaks in an amazing sauce with what was meant to be coconut rice ( dubious ) atmosphere nice and staff very attentive - try it !! The chef special ( chicken dish ) was nice too apparently.

Stayed here for one night mid week and found No.5 to be a great alternative to a hotel. We've stayed in serviced apartments in the city before, but this is a standout because of the fantastic location Don't come here is you're looking for a bustling hotel atmosphere--there's only 12 apartments in the place no lift and the lobby is... I have been using this Aparthotel for about 10 years and it really is a consistently clean ,organised and spacious west end based and I would choose it every time over the standard sized mayfair hotel box room . suites are well laid out with a sitting area and well kitted bathroom and bedroom . In terms of location it... More

We recently spent five nights at No. 5 Maddox with our college age son on a visit to London. The hotel is better than advertised! Our 2 bedroom suite was elegant and spotless and provided us with lots of room to get over jet lag. The staff was knowledgeable and courteous and we definitely felt pampered as in any 5... More

Wonderful location for Soho, Piccadilly Circus, Carnaby Street and numerous theaters all within easy walking distance. Our room was very comfortable, small suite, bedroom, bath, living room and a great little kitchen. There is no lift so if you have difficulty with stairs this lovely little place may not be for you. The friendly and helpful staff will do everything... More

You are greeted by a steep staircase to get to the first floor and reception. NO LIFTS, but the climb is worth while. Rooms are tastefully decorated, spacious and offer you all the comforts you do not normally find in central london hotels. Very Good - Fantastic Location

Brilliant location, and, like many reviewers, we found all staff members without exception, to be extremely welcoming, professional, friendly and personable. Staying in Mayfair

Neighborhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
