Really nice small Hotell with personal service! The location is perfect with many good restaurants very close, even on the same street:) (don't miss the Japanese) Hyde park is just a 10min walk from the Hotell. I will come here next time I'm in London!

Our second stay and another time thus hotel didn't disappoint us! Everything worked and with a very pleasant, sophisticated style. Beatifully, with a dedicated taste decorated rooms, everything available we could imagine to make our stay the pleasant one. Room was quiet and every day after we returned perfectly cleaned and arranged.

Went with BF for a long weekend. Was greeted by very helpful staff and complimentary fruits and chocolate in our room. Super comfy bed in a very small but functional bedroom. Never heard a sound from neighbors or traffic although this hotel is basically on Regent Street. Had the smallest suite but it quite met our expectations and requirements. The... More

When I arrived In Maddox Street I really wasn't sure where No 5 was! It wasn't immediately obvious...Then I noticed the door, with the planters at each side. This is where I wanted to be. It was late and when we went through the door there was a security guard that directed us upstairs to the reception. It didn't really... More

We are just back from a very nice two-night weekend stay at No.5 Maddox and it was really great for our family group – 2 adults and a 2 year old. This place though is all about the location – it is literally 10 paces off Regent Street. In case you hadn’t realized the location means there are a vast... More

Had a late lunch here - veggie for me. Tofu steaks in an amazing sauce with what was meant to be coconut rice ( dubious ) atmosphere nice and staff very attentive - try it !! The chef special ( chicken dish ) was nice too apparently.

Stayed here for one night mid week and found No.5 to be a great alternative to a hotel. We've stayed in serviced apartments in the city before, but this is a standout because of the fantastic location Don't come here is you're looking for a bustling hotel atmosphere--there's only 12 apartments in the place no lift and the lobby is... We recently spent five nights at No. 5 Maddox with our college age son on a visit to London. The hotel is better than advertised! Our 2 bedroom suite was elegant and spotless and provided us with lots of room to get over jet lag. The staff was knowledgeable and courteous and we definitely felt pampered as in any 5... More

Staying in Mayfair

Neighborhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
