First let me say the hotel is on a beautiful location. The rooms are great size and very well kept. That said the desk staff left a lot to be desired. The hotel was sold out, maybe that's the reason, but they were not very nice nor concerned if you had something happen, like the elevator breaking and me falling... More

I stay 2 nights in this hotel. I really appreciate the atmosphere, typical British, the room are very quiet. the spa is terrific ! As you can except, the breakfast offers a large choice of hot meal, fresh fruit. the only negative point was the temperatures of the meeting, it wa really cold, fortunately the second day we got a... Stayed here while on business. Freezing cold water meant I couldn't shower. Complained at check out and got long winded explanation why they have problems providing hot water, but no recompense. It turned out in the explanation that they knew before I checked in that they had a problem but were still happy to check me in. At £250 per... More

Stayed for 2 nights. The most spectacular thing about this hotel is the location - right along the Thames, facing the London Eye and Big Ben - which is why I wanted to stay here. The shocking thing is the cost - the advertised price of over GBP250++ only gets you a basic, bare room, overloking the backyard. If you... More

We stayed for four days. The location is wonderful with views from our bedroom of BigBen and Houses of Parliament. Westminster underground station is a 3 minute walk. Hop on/off Tour buses stop in front of hotel Staff were without exception very kind and helpful. Breakfast was very nice with a good choice in restaurant with (again) view of Big... More

My wife and I stayed here for one night shortly before christmas. Arriving at the hotel is the first great experience. Checking in was no problem and the staff was nice and helpful even though we arrived very early. As buildings are in London, nothing is as smooth and slick as it is in new buildings. This hotel has charme.... More

Located on the south bank of the Thames directly opposite Westminster Palace - we chose this hotel for our last 3 nights in London after a recent holiday. I stayed with my two adult sons in a 5th floor room with a wonderful view - the sunsets were amazing. Reception was helpful and pleasant. We did seem to walk a... More

The best thing about this hotel is the location. It is right by Embankment, next to the walking bridge which takes you over the Thames (gives you a fab view of Big Ben!) and to Trafalgar Square/Big Ben. The area also seems quite secure and if you are staying on your own, it feels safe. There is a Starbucks right... More

it is hard to beat the location. Walk across the bridge to Westminster Abbey, listen to Big Ben as you walk outside the hotel, or take a stroll down the river, this location is hard to beat. The hotel itself is a converted office flat, done very well with large (by London standards) rooms that somehow combine the old world... More
