The staff was so friendly and accommodating.ambiance is also very nice.the only area where they need to tighten is the kitchen area we orderd for lunch and it took more than 70 Min for it to come.we went there after reading other reviews but after being there it just seams like this place is overrated.

This hotel is in a great location, central and within walking distance to everything we wanted to do. We paid for an upgrade room and can recommend as the higher floor rooms offer a better view. Very clean and well appointed room. Breakfast was excellent. Staff were friendly and especially the duty manager who was very helpful.

Hilton Park Lane is a quiet old hotel but the rooms are renovated and nice. Try to get a park view room on the higher floors. Really a stunning view from there over Hyde Park. Service is s you would expect it from any Hilton hotel. Location is perfect and you can walk from there to a lot of sightseeing... More

The Hotel is old, but charming, the service is good- but to wait for an hour to get a breakfast table, is more than astonishing- its a pitty. Its is an average experience, maybe next time i´d choose an other place.

Recently stayed here during a business trip to London. Room was okay (although didn't warrant the cost). Hotel staff were unfriendly (no smiles - just stares, unless that is your name was Sheik..). To top it all off, I returned home, logged on to my bank account only to see that they;ve debited my card for £100.00 for additional charges,... More

I went here for lunch with 2 of my friends for another friends birthday and it was lovely. Couldn't knock it. We had the lamb which was absolutely delicious! Our waitress was so so friendly and couldn't do enough for us and the price was really fair (and we are students). It would have been nice to sit up by... More

Everything but the restaurant on the top floor is out dated: the lobby is dark, looks like you're entering a hotel in the 80's, the rooms are quite old (with a nice view, that's true).... Hard to sell it as a nice destination.... especially as it's surrounded by the InterContinental, the Four Seasons, the Met and the Dorchester....

we stayed over for my birthday and I have always wanted to stay here. It is slightly dated, but I think despite being a large hotel this adds to the charm. Our room was big enough, well decorated and well proportioned. We came back from the theatre and had a drink in the sky lounge on the 28th floor. Wonderful... More

Staying in Mayfair

Neighborhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
