Hotel room ok, but disappointed by the make-shift dining room and staff. The hotel obviously is having renovation works but it should have been completely honest that this was happening. We were told that breakfast would be served on the "mezzanine" it was just a conference room used as a makeshift restaurant and bar area. Where you had to wait... More

We stayed here while transfer to Hilton was taking place and they are doing everything they can to bring the hotel up to date. There's a very reasonable surface car park just across the road and there are 3 tube stations within walking distance. Rooms were clean, modern and well appointed. Air con works a treat, flat screen TV and... More

On our recent visit to London we stayed at the London Hyde Park Hotel that just joined the prestigious Hilton Double Tree family. The hotel is located at the North-East corner of Kensington Gardens, next the Hyde Park. It's in a very nice neighborhood, just a short "tube" (London metro) ride from the city center. The staff is just as... More

This is a lovely modern amenities space in a great location -- just near the Queensway tube, plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, and just north of the park. Conveniences like a iPhone compatible alarm clock pair well with a traditional English breakfast buffet for a complete experience.

Just a stroll from the Queensway or Bayswater tube station. In that area are scores of restaurants and bars so dining is not a problem. The hotel has a very clinical lobby but very clean and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. No delays checking in, the room was excellent, not huge but perfect for a stay of 3-4... More

The rehab was well underway when we visited. The new rooms look great, with a nice use of limited space. Iphone charger, flat screen, comfortable beds, clean. The public areas were underway (hallways done, lobby opened as we stayed and restaurant was closed for rehab). Staff was very helpful. Great location near 2 tube lines. Tons of dining in the... we stayed for 5 nights at the beginning of our holiday in London. When I rang them regarding a late arrival, I was assured that a newly refurbished room had been allocated. I was pleased to find a very nice modern room, albeit a bit small, with all the expected amenities for a 4 star hotel after check in. The... More

We had a great time in London during our vacation and we loved the location of the hotel, It was an easy walk to Hyde Park, Notting Hill and Queensway. Staying in Notting Hill

Neighborhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighborhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
