We chose La Suite West Hotel for our recent break in London over the Easter Holidays. The design of the hotel is really stunning, clean lines and a real contemporary feel without feeling stark. The staff couldn't have done more to make our stay comfortable, they were really friendly! Breakfast was yummy - a huge array to choose from and... More

The decor was minimalistic and stylish however the rooms and the overall feel of the hotel was claustrophobic the photos were certainly deceiving!! The room would have been more than suitable for one person but we couldn't walk around the bed and struggled to open our luggage. It was clean but worn and in need of an over haul. The... More

We booked this hotel for our short trip (3 nights) to London. Upon arrival we decided to opt for the junior suite and pay a little extra. I can only recommend to do this as the rooms are tiny. The hotel calls itself "boutique" which probably expresses itself in the design. However, this has taken over the place a little... More

We stayed here for a weekend shopping trip and found the whole experience to be delightful. We were upgraded to a suite on arrival and were treated with the utmost care for our entire stay. The rooms are small, but that is to be expected for a boutique hotel in London. The decor is modern with an oriental feel -... More

We booked this hotel based on others good recommendation from the sites. We thought it’s a nice little four star hotel. When we got to our room it was super small and we couldn’t even open our luggage. We went to the concierge to switch our room where they told us this is the best we can do right now... More

A very nice, compact (yet not cramped), clean and modern hotel. Nicely located, minutes from the Central Line and within walking distance from central locations, such as Bond St. and Knightsbridge (through the wonderful Hyde Park). Modern and functional design and amenities, clean and spacious rooms and excellent service throughout the day, with a very attentive staff. Prices are reasonable,... More

I enjoyed the vegan afternoon tea as part of my daughter's hen weekend. The tea was delicious and plenty of it. From the sandwiches, warm scones and tasty cakes to the pots of tea everything was lovely.

Easy access, two underground stations very close (Queensway and Bayswater). Quiet street but near the restaurants and shops. Wonderfu Kensington park around the corner. Helpful staff, clean, new, quiet rooms. Feeling of luxury in rooms. Well arranged rooms and comfy bed. Only point was a bit of drawbar from the windows.

I give this hotel a 4 star coz it's my kind of aesthetics and I am willing to forgive some design flaws. Husband would give 3 stars coz he is more practical. We were upgraded to a junior suite which was nice. The view that greeted us after opening the door was a flight of steps leading up to the... More

The rooms were clean. But tiny. Could barely put our luggage down flat, the space between the bed and the TV was less than 50 centimetres, the ensuite was small also and sprayed water all over the place unless you had low water coming out of the shower. We were offered an early check in, but only if we upgraded... More

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighborhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighborhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
