4 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

Overall a good hotel, well located, quiet, nice staff. I was there for 6 nights in total 3 each in the front and back end of the trip. It was a good base camp, and a value compared to a lot of more expensive hotels. The rooms were small - typical for London. My biggest complaint were the expensive Wi-Fi,... More

The hotel is in a great location but you pay for it..... and for the size and quality of the bedrooms it's very over priced. The breakfast was fairly decent as well. So overall i would recommend it's location but not its rooms.

The hotel is very nice, great breakfast, great staff and 24 hour room service. The hotel is a short walk from Hyde park and close to many shops and restaurants and bars. We felt safe to walk a round at night as well.

When I arrived at the hotel the reception layout lulled me into thinking this was a luxurious hotel. However when I opened my hotel room door I discovered I'd been duped. The room (1021) was tiny and was in desperate need of updating. The bathroom has clearly been updated in the decor but not the appliances. The floor of the... More

I was attending a dinner in one of the A lister Park Lane hotel sand needed a hotel for the night - somewhere close enough but at much than Park Lane prices. This hotel was a remarkable find. For the money not much was expected. So, a friendly welcome, a tidy, comfortable air conditioned room, a decent bed, a full... More

First I will say the rooms are very clean and it is a good location. That is the only positive. Could not get in my room until 3:30 and then the a/c was broken. People, constantly waiting in lobby to get in rooms. Moved room and the key did not, work, safe broke and the hardest mattress I have ever had in... More

Lancaster Gate Hotel is an oasis of peace and quiet, on a street that offers easy access to many important elements of being a tourist in London. It is a short walk to two different subway stations and even closer to bus stops. London is so incredibly busy and huge that proximity to Tube stations is really important. It is... More

I stayed here for 2 nights for work. I cannot praise the staff highly enough, so friendly, kind and pleasant. I woke very eary and they made me coffee way before breakfast time. The hotel was let down by the poor wifi which was erratic and slow and the shower was broken and door hard to close. Also there was... More

This was a birthday celebration trip to London with my sisters and daughter. The hotel rooms were on the small side, but that is expected in European hotels. The bed was a little uncomfortable, but I did get a good nights sleep. The room was very clean. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. There was a traditional English breakfast... More

My partner and I booked a Sunday evening stay and the lower price reflected this. Even so this felt like a bargain as the hotel feels better than its 3* rating . The entrance area is well laid out, as well as a comfortable bar area and a smart restaurant. The room was clean and fresh and spacious enough. I... More
