I've stayed here before, and I liked it, so I stayed here again. This time the staff guaranteed my patronage wherever feasible. Yesterday evening I arrived at Gatwick airport for my flight to Barcelona to find I couldn't locate my passport. After frantic searching I thought I would ask the hotel if it got left in the room safe, the... More

A nice quiet place to relax. The lobby area had plenty of seating. It was always safe and quiet. Beds were nice and firm. There was a trick to the lights... You have to place your room key in the slot as you enter the room to keep the lights from turning off every 30 seconds or so. There is... More

We changed hotels to stay here and it was a great improvement. The staff were friendly and helpful, our HH room was great, the bedding was crisp and clean. The concierge staff was fun and helpful. A great walk in shower. So convenient for everything.

Paid 199 GBP for the room and 20 GBP for buffet breakfast. Requested a room with two beds (U.S. residents should note that a double room will be 2 twin beds, NOT queen beds that are the standard in the U.S.) because I was sharing a room with my son, when we arrived (at 1am and after a 9 hour... This hotel has a terrific location for getting around to sight-seeing and theatre. We were able to check in early, and they accomodated our request for an upper floor, the room was very quiet. The mattress was wonderful and we slept very well. Everyone was extremely helpful with giving us directions to travel around London. We had a delicious dinner... More

Friendly competent staff, well equipped rooms - although mine lacked a luggage rack - and comfortable bed. Not particularly well sound proofed. I could hear people (and the TV) talking in the next door room. Near Victoria Station and therefore ideally suited for getting around town. Restaurant is good without being exceptional. If you use room service be aware that... More

A very conveniently placed hotel, everything is within walking distance - the station, theaters, museums, pubs. I had a pleasant first impression when they gave each of us a nice warm chocolate chip cookie as our group checked in. Took an hour before we were able to check in because our reserved rooms were not yet ready. But room is... More

Excellent hotel in a very convenient location for travel. I was on the 8th floor at the front, which provides excellent views. Rooms are a good sized, with all the amenities you would want. They have internet facilities off the lobby, which allows you to complete the check-in process for return flight. Staff were helpful, swift check-out process and provided... More

Stayed in room 726 of this hotel recently. This is on the front of the hotel which is on a busy road adjacent to Victoria station, adjacent to the lifts. This therefore means the room is somewhat noisy and the same will be true of all the rooms on this side of the hotel. This room is also somewhat compact... More

Dear Triffic, Many thanks for sharing your experience with other travellers. I am sorry if your stay was not as comfortable and fulfilling as we both hoped. All our bedrooms benefit from double glazing and most of our front facing rooms have secondary glazing. I am happy to hear further from you about any addition we could implement to improve... More

Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
