We chose this hotel because of it's location. In that regard, we couldn't have been happier. Right next to Victoria Station made it easy to get anyplace we wanted to go. On the negative side, our room was on the 10th floor and the main elevator only goes to the 9th floor. The auxiliary elevator that serviced the 10th floor... More

Good standard family and business accommodation right next to Victoria station although quiet inside. Not luxurious but efficient and clean. Good choice for houses of parliament etc as only 5 min walk down Victoria Street.

We booked this hotel primarily due to its proximity to Victoria station. It is close by and in a great spot - walking distance to Buckingham Palace. Seemed to be a reasonable value for London. Concierge was very helpful.

The hotel is conveniently located next to Victoria station which made it an easy commute from the airport. The room was very well kept, tidy and comfortable. It was a short walk to the closest tube station and not too far out of the way to walk to Buckingham Palace and Westminster Abbey. A supermarket is close by in the... More

We have booked this specific hotel 3 of the last 4 visits to London and have usually had favorable experiences. However this time was different. We booked a (5 night) guaranteed reservation 4 months in advance and got a good rate but when we arrived it all went down hill. We arrived at 12:15 pm. The front desk greeted us... More

Excellent hotel, excellent rooms and above all- excellent staff who go out of their way for their guests. Hotel location is perfect for tourists exploring London- very central. Peaceful and quiet at night for an undisturbed sleep. Having stayed in many London hotels, this is the one we will return to on our next visit to London.

We had a really first class long weekend at Double Tree Victoria. The entrance to the station is about 10 yards from the main door and your gateway to London. Comfy beds and air conditioning that works perfectly made sure that we were well rested at the start of each day. Special thanks to the staff who couldn't have been... More

Next to Victoria station and therefore extremely convenient if you have to travel around by subway and train, or to explore major tourist destinations and restaurants (taxi's and traffic is extremely slow and expensive in London's city center nowadays) Besides the location and easy acces into the city center, it's got clean and quiet rooms, very friendly service and price... Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
