This hotel has a perfect location. Seriously, it's a stone's throw from the Ritz and Green Park. Everything you need in London is accessible via hoof, cab, or tube. I walked to all the major attractions and client meetings across town from this property. Besides the location, the concierge Isabelle is delightful. She is very knowledgeable and goes out of... I've been here a couple of times now and find the location ideal for sightseeing. The rooms are very clean but a little compact, the bathrooms especially so. What makes this hotel stand out is the staff, they are fantastic. Always helpful, always friendly! Breakfast is very good both in its variety and taste. The bar area serves meals during... More

Good location. Staff very helpful and friendly. Convenience store around the corner, Starbucks across the street. Fortnum & Mason 3 blocks away. Great restaurant (Gaucho) 2 blocks away. Special thanks to Isabella for making dinner reservations for us and connecting us with Audrey in Paris!

Stay recently for one night on rewards points. The staff were excellent that we encountered during our stay, very friendly and accommodating! The hotel itself is fine, looking quite tired but clean and comfortable, for what I "paid" absolutely fine, I think if I had paid a high season rate I would feel a little disappointed, it doesn't exactly scream... From Heathrow, the picadilly line underground Green Park station is 300 feet from the Holiday Inn. Hotel staff very friendly, room clean and modern. Small compared to American standards, but was ample for 2 night stay on business. Would highly recommend it. Great pubs and places to eat within walking distance.

We stayed here because it was near where we wanted to be. The location really is great. It is near Buckingham Palace. It's a 10 minute walk to Piccadilly Circus and the theatre district and there is an Underground station (Green Park) just around the corner. So when arriving at Heathrow you can take the tube (45 minutes) almost to... More

Stayed a night for work. Not cheap but very nice room and good service. And you could pay much more in this area I'm sure. If you need to be close to this area it's very good, especially for business. For tourists, I'd stay a little further out, still central but cheaper.

Staff were polite and welcoming. Rooms were clean, modern and functional. Breakfast was the only food we had here but the choice was good, from fresh fruit, pancakes, cereal to sausage and egg etc., The breakfast staff were attentative from refilling your coffee to replacing empty food trays. Location was ideal for us, 10 minute walk to Piccadilly Circus. The... More

Great stay in this very nice hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful and treated us well with nothing too much trouble. Modern décor and exceptionally clean hotel. Nice to walk in to room and find complimentary snacks available.

Just stayed here for 1 night with my husband and it was perfect for what we wanted. Fantastic location for the theatres, Regent Street, China Town, Hyde Park etc. we didn't have to use the tube once! Would definitely stay again. The only small criticsisms I would have is for the location/area we were surrounded by (The Ritz is literally... More

Staying in Mayfair

Neighborhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
