It's an upscale Holiday Inn in a great location. Right next to the Tube, Westminster, Hyde Park, and other walkable attractions. However, you are going to pay for the location as it's definitely not a budget hotel. Very friendly staff; in fact, some of the best I have ever experienced. Rooms are adequate, but we had a family with a... More

Great location in the heart of London. Right down the road from the Ritz. Room was confortable. Breakfast great. Buffet style with a little something for the whole family. I would stay there again. Not cheap but it seems all the hotels in London are very expensive.

A typical hotel from the chain but I was hoping for more given its in Mayfair. Good for overnight seeing a show and some nice eateries nearby but not good enough for the price they charge. The taps at the basin were defective and the cold revolved 360 so was nigh impossible to turn off. The room was good, bed... More

We arrived in London to be let down by an apartment we had booked. Checked lastminute.com and found this hotel. It was perfect. Staff were friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. Saved our visit to London. Perfect location for us and will definitely return when we next plan a London visit again

We needed a room that could accommodate a family of four and our options were limited. Mayfair is the place to be in London-there were two Starbucks on our street-need we say more. The hotel was nice and our room included a complimentary breakfast, If your room does not, don't worry-there are plenty of places very close by including a... More

We stayed for one night at the Holiday Inn in Mayfair in March 2015. We booked a family room for my daughter, husband and myself and a double room for my mother and father in law. We decided to book the Holiday Inn in Mayfair as we were taking my in laws to London for the first time as a... More

We stayed from 19-21 June in an executive room and the service from all staff was second to none. Friendly and professional from reception to room service. Our room was well appointed and street noise kept to a minimum with closing windows and using air-con. The room was a good size with all the amenities you could want and a... More

The location was great but thats about it. We had a standard double room, it was a great space, but was out dated. This style room needs up dating. On the plus side, the air conditioning worked and had plenty of sockets, for todays travel is important.

Bin lorries working out back of the hotel all through the night.... Only managed a couple of hours sleep. I rang reception at 3am to ask for a room change it was that bad, but none available. Even without that.... A very average version of Holiday Inn, outdated, tired. Albeit a great location.... But there are several much better hotels... More

Staying in Mayfair

Neighborhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
