Stayed here for 1 night with my teenage daughter and it was a great hotel in a convenient location. Just over the road from the tube station, waitrose and a Starbucks. Lovely and clean and we got a quiet room so not disturbed by the hustle bustle. Would def recommend.

Nice hotel. Friendly staff, the garden area is a wonderful oasis in the middle of a very busy part of London. So close to Gloucester Rd tube station, and a short walk to Harrods etc. The Club was well worth it for breakfast, a lot quieter than the main restaurant. Only complaint - very uncomfortable bed!

After a long flight over to London, I was greatly pleased our room was ready for us early. There were three of us so I booked a larger room and was not disappointed. Upstairs large bed and wonderful bathroom. Downstairs, a great pullout couch and desk and a table with chairs. It was great. The staff was wonderful. Right across... More

I was attending a conference and brought along my husband and two teenage children. We chose the option that included breakfast in the restaurant and were so glad we did. The breakfast buffet was amazing and there was something for everyone. Dinner was equally superb and the service at the front desk and concierge was friendly and always helpful. Rooms... More

Just the two minute walk from the underground stop was nice. Then we were pleased seeing the exterior. The lobby was nicely air conditioned for our stay during the heat wave. Everything is fairly new and modern but still inviting and comfortable even with travel-tired kids. Free Wifi was great. We comfortably sat and had beverages from the bar while... More

Stayed just 1 night in June on a business trip. Arrived around 10 am, had requested an early check-in but they could not accommodate the request. So I left my bags at the concierge, went for my appointments got back just after 2 pm to check-in. They had allocated a room + key ready to go, so that was smooth... More

This was my first time in London. my visit was from May 6th to the 14th. I wanted a hotel that was well kept, comfortable and not in a dodgy area. When choosing a hotel, I chose based on the reviews here on trip advisor, I took all the tips regarding room location. The reviews were right about the renovations... More

A great quality Crowne Plaza with a great location just opposite the Tube on the Piccadilly line. Easy access into the West End, for the Museums or Knightsbridge. We stayed in a executive club room which was very comfortable, great bed, quiet with great air con! Only slight let down was the not so powerful shower. We had breakfast in... More

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
