The hotel looks nice enough inside, but seems a little smaller than most crowne plazas. This is the same for the rooms (club) aswell, but thats London for you. It had everything we needed though and the staff were happy to help with anything. This hotel is in a great location, right by a host of restaurants, the tube station... More

The Crowne Plaza Kensington has something of an identity crisis. It seems to be unsure whether it is a luxury or budget hotel. Certainly the rack rate implies luxury but a number of other things suggest otherwise. Upon arriving at the hotel, I was given a form to complete with details of my address, nationality – the usual sort of... More

We like this hotel for it's location and a bit larger rooms. Larger than the Holiday inn just 1-1/2 block away though the Crown Plaza may be a bit more pricy. More

Dear CharlesDeutschland Thank you for your review of our hotel. The Crowne Plaza is slightly more expensive than the nearby Holiday Inn as you would expect, but both hotels offer equally good value for money. Crowne Plaza does have larger rooms and added luxuries in the rooms as well as the benefit of a club lounge, boutique style decor and... More

Got this hotel at an incredible rate, yet were still upgraded on check-out. The staff were absolutely fantastic throughout our entire stay. Such a credit to the hotel! The location was great, and very convenient to the Royal Albert Hall. We enjoyed breakfast on two different mornings and were very impressed both times. It almost didn't make sense that the... More

We stayed for 2 nights, over a weekend, in order to see a show at the Royal Albert Hall. Travelling with 2 kids, we had booked a room with 2 double beds. Check-in process was quick and smooth, although information was minimal. We had to return to reception later to enquire about breakfast times, as nothing at all (not just... More

We had a fab visit to this hotel. We got this as part of Lastminute.com's Secret Hotel and it was everything we wanted and more! The check in staff were so polite and couldn't have helped us more. We checked in swiftly and smoothly at 2oclock (bonus!) and our room was on the first floor. Our room was totally spotless.... More

Dear hkeebs Thank you for your review of your stay. I am delighted that like so many other guests, you felt able to give us a 5/5 rating. I have asked our engineer to look at the vent in room 114 to investigate the noise you refer to so that future guests do not encounter the same problem. Best regards... More

The room was excellent, the staff were very nice, and the breakfast was the best I have had at a London hotel. My only complaint, that I was not there for the whole week! More

Dear RT_51 Thank you for your kind review. I'm delighted that you found the breakfast buffet so good, it certainly does offer a wide choice. I hope you took advantage of the offer to buy breakfast vouchers at the time of check-in for a discounted price. Best regards Lawder Smith General Manager More

We stayed at Crowne Plaza St James last year and tried not to compare while we were staying at this hotel. We were given a lovely room overlooking quiet gardens at the back with 2 double beds which was great as my daughter is heavily pregnant.Only downside about the room compared to last year was no bath robes but no big... Dear Fee 60 Thank you for leaving your feedback on your visit. Crowne Plaza St James and Crowne Plaza Kensington are very different hotels, St James being very traditional and Kensington being very modern and boutique style, but both offer the same high standards of quality and guest care. I am glad you enjoyed both equally. I'm not sure why... More

Could be. (In the interests of fairness I got a room through a Priority Club 'London 2012' offer. Clue to price in the title! So at that price I was fairly unconcerned so long as I got a quiet room which I sort of did except for a problem outside the hotel's control on which more below). Overall, with a... More

I stayed at this hotel for two nights on a business trip and cannot wait to return! I was accommodated in a fantastic split level club suite, consisting of two ample rooms beautifully decorated. A large work desk, two flat screen tv's and a comfortable sofa set was lovely finish to the suite. There were various lighting options and an... More
