This should be a four star rating, as I have two small subtractions - which I'll get to in a moment - but the service and cleanliness leads me to five. Stay here because: it's bright, welcoming, friendly staff offered options for which room we'd like (booked two twin beds, stayed on the 3rd floor overlooking Holland Park Avenue), and... More

I was generally impressed with the level of service and accommodation at the Hilton Kensington. The rooms and lobby are starting to look a little dated, but this was of no matter. A couple of things in the room like slightly noisy air conditioning and a fridge that did not open were slight annoyances but they did not detract from... More

Very good location, neat and clean Hotel, helpful Conceirge and Reception. Checking in was very efficient and faster. Could improve the lobby computers with updated mouse and software as the browing was too slow. Breakfast was healthy and choice was amazing. Connectivity from the Hotel to any part of the city is excellent. Taxis available all through. concerige staff was... More

As a regular Hilton traveller on business, it was a first with family. Returning to my home city as an expat in Australia, I was relieved that on arrival after 27 hours on a plane with child, they gave us our room on arrival at 10am! The good: Early check in, speedy service, child friendly attitudes of staff, good breakfast,... More

Our check-in was fast although we had to carry our luggage up ourselves despite porters being there. Their was no wireless internet service in the rooms, which we were not informed about, and is available only in the common areas. The room service extension on our phone was never answered, despite going through reception and several dishes on the menu... More

My wife and I recently stayed at the Hilton Kensington, and I must say what a refreshing hotel with excellent staff. After a long hot day working at the London Film and Comic Con, we really needed a comfortable, stress free, and quiet hotel to relax in, and as soon as we met Carl G. a front desk receptionist we... We stayed at the Hilton Olympia with our teenage son. A very vibrant hotel which is easily accessed within an up market area of historic London. All aspects of the hotel are first class including the staff. Concierge was very helpful. Not a great view from the room however who spends much time in the room when they are visiting... More

We got a great deal that included breakfast and I had been slightly worried over the distance from central London but needn't have worried at all--the station at Shepherds Bush is very close but I preferred the walk along to Holland Park as it's such a nice street to wander along. There are very regular buses which stop right outside... More

The location of the hotel is fine in Kensington. The price of the room is quite high for the service you will get; The mini bar was not working in my room..I had to wait one hour to have a club sandwich at the bar..the TV screen quality was very poor in the room..and it was not possible to check... Dear Joul21, I am most grateful for you taking the time to share your feedback with us. However, I was disappointed to learn that you were disappointment with a few things, being the TV reception in your room and the mini bar not working. I do hope that you reported these issues whilst staying with us in order that we... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Hilton London Kensington is located close to a lot of London event venues and some great shopping too. Only about a 7-minute walk from Holland Park underground station and one of the main central tube lines, Hilton London Kensington is surrounded by places to eat, drink, shop, and watch bands. There is always comedy or music at the Hammersmith Apollo - a simple walk away, or sporting events at Wembley stadium - a short train ride away. And with the modern, well-stocked Westfield shopping center located just across the road, when you stay at Hilton London Kensington you can shop all day. Whatever you chose to do in your spare time, the hotel itself is bright and airy. All the rooms have an LCD flat screen TV and a mini bar. If you don’t want a night in, relaxing in your comfortable room and don’t want to venture too far either; choose to dine in the romantic West Eleven restaurant after making the most of the 24-hour gym and the relaxing sauna and steam room. Staying at the Hilton London Kensington is about making the most out of your time in London. ... more   less
