This hotel is located right across the street from Kensington Gardens/Hyde Park and is located next to two main Tube stations. You can take the Heathrow Express train from the airport and change to a District or Circle line train at Paddington. The hotel is one stop away from Paddington at the Bayswater Tube station and a short walk down... More

Most things about this hotel were very good - friendly staff, rapid service and clean rooms. The exception was the restaurant for breakfast where it was clear that any system designed to manage throughput had failed. This took a lot of the shine off the overall experience.

we stayed here with another couple for one night. We booked two rooms together and paid quite a lot for the night. We didn't expect to have two rooms that were totally different!! one room was really nice but the other was a corner room and very small and dated decor! looked quite dirty actually. The receptionist at the front... More

Stayed here a couple of times. Good location on Hyde Park if you are a runner. But no executive lounge or gym. A good buffet in the morning for breakfast, but the rooms are rather small. Nice staff, good location, and if you're only in town for a night it's a go!

We recently stayed at this Hilton Hotel, it is not a brand I usually frequent, but we were very impressed by the level of service and friendliness that all the staff we encountered showed to us. Will return if I need to stay in this part of London again.

Booked one night as attending event at Hyde Park. Were given twin room when asked for double - and bag not left in room as requested. Returned to reception and were given a large double, which was fine. Bathroom on the small side and needed redecorating but shower & bath fine. Bed comfy enough and plenty of nice pillows. Adjoining... More

Just another pokey London hotel charging stupid prices. The rooms are very small and bathroom decor is tatty and in need of an update. Everything about it is just drab. The average rating is only worthy of it's location.

We chose this hotel primarly for its location as we were attending British Summertime festival in Hyde Park. It's in a great location next to the tube and opposite kensington gardens (even though its called Hilton Hyde Park). The staff were friendly and the breakfast was great. However the room was very tired looking in particular the bathroom. Whilst it... More

Stayed in London for 5 nights and the staff at this hotel were all amazing and the hotel was lovely. Obviously small accommodations but that is standard for Europe. This hotel is in an excellent location and near everything. It's right next to the tube so it makes commuting around super easy. The food at this hotel was excellent! I... More

Having booked a standard room I naturally expected something normal not a cubby hole. Alas for this hotel standard is not big enough to stretch out one's arms. It even had a standard lamp between the TV and the _single_ bed. At £180 per night this is not acceptable. Bathroom so small there's not even a bath? Doorway into the... More

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighborhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighborhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
