I travelled a lot for business and always (almost) stayed in Hiltons around the world. My diamond Honors card meant at least a smile and a warm welcome. My son booked this for me on Friday for a spur of the moment weekend visit and paid for a double room. When I checked in on the Saturday I was first... More

As a frequent traveler I am looking always for Hotels where I feel not only welcome but being part of a family. Hilton Hyde Park gives me exactly that feeling. The fact that it is small allow for the staff to know their frequent guests and go the extra mile without even having to request it. The rooms have been... More

I found the Hilton Hyde Park very nice with a staff both knowledgeable and friendly. There are many good restaurants within walking distance, as well as local supermarkets such as Tesco and Sainsbury's should you choose to pick up a quick sandwich, a bag of crisps (chips) and a Coke, and walk across the street to sit in Hyde Park... We spent our 2nd week of our vacation last week in London and decided to stay at this Hilton property because of its excellent location and brand name. Accompanying us were our two sons, aged 7 and 4. The highlight of our stay at this hotel was the front desk staff and concierge. In particular, I would like to say... More

Bought a 5 night trip to London with some family members. Was advised on this hotel as it had easy access to the theaters which was why we were there in the first place. We paid extra for an early check in as our flight was getting in at 8am, we eventually reached the hotel by taxi at about 10.30am.... More

This hotel is located right across the street from Kensington Gardens/Hyde Park and is located next to two main Tube stations. You can take the Heathrow Express train from the airport and change to a District or Circle line train at Paddington. The hotel is one stop away from Paddington at the Bayswater Tube station and a short walk down... More

Most things about this hotel were very good - friendly staff, rapid service and clean rooms. The exception was the restaurant for breakfast where it was clear that any system designed to manage throughput had failed. This took a lot of the shine off the overall experience.

we stayed here with another couple for one night. We booked two rooms together and paid quite a lot for the night. We didn't expect to have two rooms that were totally different!! one room was really nice but the other was a corner room and very small and dated decor! looked quite dirty actually. The receptionist at the front... More

Stayed here a couple of times. Good location on Hyde Park if you are a runner. But no executive lounge or gym. A good buffet in the morning for breakfast, but the rooms are rather small. Nice staff, good location, and if you're only in town for a night it's a go!

We recently stayed at this Hilton Hotel, it is not a brand I usually frequent, but we were very impressed by the level of service and friendliness that all the staff we encountered showed to us. Will return if I need to stay in this part of London again.

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighborhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighborhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
