A very friendly charming hotel, staff very thoughtful. The wifi was erratic so not a place to stay if you need to be on line. I only had breakfast in the hotel, continental, very good - lots to chose from and also Parma ham and smoked salmon! Very conveniently located for shopping and a 2 minute walk to Sloane Square.... We spent five nights in a suite at No. 11. Overall it was very pleasant. It is has an ambiance you will get only in a small hotel like it. You get the squeaky floors, the elevator cage and the little rooms (not the actual hotel room) to relax and have a drink, eat or just read. Don't expect modern... More

We enjoyed staying at No11 Cadogan, it's a cozy hotel in a old style affluent quiet district. The stairs with old paintings, the library with old books, this is something which make you feel comfortable and back in the 19th century. As minor downside we could not switch off the heating and there was no fridge in our room. But... More

After dealing closely with the front of house manager Blair I was hopeful that my planned proposal would be special and everything I hoped for, well it was more. Unfortunately Blair was not working during my stay but handed me over to karine who was wonderful and went above and beyond what I had asked for. The room was amazing,... More

Wonderful dark paneling everywhere in the common areas, roaring fires, beautiful paintings, lovely and very helpful staff, comfy beds and super clean rooms that are decorated with great taste. I like to stay in that little Sloane Square gem especially in the winter because it feels like you're entering your manor house and suddenly step back in time. I just... More

Booked this because it was near my daughter's flat in Chelsea. What an absolute pleasure it was staying here. The hotel is cozy and warm without the corporate feel found in other hotels. The staff is professional and friendly, and always eager to help and just chat for a few minutes. The neighborhood is lovely. I hope to return many... More

An intimate location, a romantic old england atmosphere, perfect for a couple but very friendly for children. Great cuisine at breakfast. I highly recommend the afternoon tea in the drawning room with the fireplace. Strategically located close to the underground.

As my family first walked through the doors of this charming hotel we were greeted by a friendly staff who could not be more helpful and warm (especially a man named: Emelson). As we were shown into our room we sat down on the comfortable bed which looked out onto a small little park across the way. The room was... More

As the business of lodging goes the way of retailing, with global brands dominating, and squeezing out the sole proprietorships and smaller operations, it is a pleasure to find a survivor, especially one that holds true to its roots of tradition and quality. No. 11 Cadogan Gardens is just such a spot. Tucked away on a residential side street just... More

Staying in Chelsea

Neighborhood Profile
Wealth courses through The King's Road, Chelsea's upmarket artery of West London life packed with shops, eateries and glitzy nightspots. For people-watching at its best and luxury retail therapy that's largely unrivalled, this area cannot be missed. But if this showy street starts to overwhelm or a moment of price tag shock sends you reeling, a quick detour down pretty much any of many King's Road veins will reveal a quieter side of Chelsea. Here the stately Royal Hospital hosts its world-famous flower show, and the Thames rolls along at a lazy pace, with leafy Battersea Park and its Peace Pagoda beckoning from across the river.
