Nice hotel, rooms are very small but suitable for people just needing a bed & shower. Location is perfect, close to 2 tube stations, Hyde park & Kensington Palace, High St. Plenty of restaurants in the area & the Big Bus tours leave from around the corner too. We asked to move rooms & the staff were great. I'd stay... More

I had to find a hotel at very short notice and the Eden Plaza appeared on my search. Great little hotel with comfy bed, although the rooms are tiny, and very clean. Very friendly hotel staff and great central location at excellent prices for Central London. Definitely use again.

The only real positive thing about the hotel was the location: it is approximately 10-15 mins away from Harrods and from Gloucester Road and South Kensington underground stations. I had a single room and it was in the basement of the building, with no windows neither in the room nor in the bathroom and the air conditioning didn't work properly... More

Location was very good. This hotel is only 5 mins walk to tube station, pharmacy, supermarket, KFC, starbucks and Paul. There's a bus stop in front of the Hotel. But do not expect anything from the hotel room. We stayed for 3 person but the room is very small, i think it should be for 2 person only. No space... More

Nice clean smart hotel in a great loaction. 2 mins walk from tube station, 15 mins from Harrods. Quiet area where hotel is. Nice place to stop. Yes rooms are small but comfy we was hardly in our room, just to freshen up and sleep. Boiler was broken when we arrived so no hot water. Hotel quickly got an engineer... More

This hotel promises a bad stay. The price-quality balance absolutely is very negative. The room I had to use (stay was early Mai 2015) was too small to be true (price of this hutch was still 160 pound/night excluding breakfast). Breakfast is extreme basic, no variation, very limited choice. Wifi sometimes worked, most of time not. Hot water worked, sometimes... More

I went to eden plaza Kensington with my dad and I really enjoyed the stay! I must say even though I only stayed for 2 nights i really enjoyed it. PARKING:❗️❗️❗️❗️ The parking was very annoying. There was a private parking stay inside a gated area. The price was quite exspendive for the parking, but oh well! Thank you for... More

I stayed at this Hotel while supporting a relative who was a patient at the Royal Brompton Hospital. The hotel is about 20 - 25 mins walk away but.... turn right out the front door, go to the end of the block and turn right again - you will find the bus stop for 49 bus which takes you right... We stayed here as we had tickets for concert at Albert Hall which was a few minutes walk away; we'd planned to stay for a couple of nights but left early, unable to face another night there. We had a double room which was tiny and wholly inadequate for two adult occupants. Interestingly that they state 'maximum occupancy' as 2... More

Don't stay here. The rooms are claustrophobic in size - ridiculously small & uncomfortable. The staff are unfriendly, unaccommodating and borderline rude. 'Free wifi' totally inaccessible throughout hotel. The worst part was my jewellery pouch went 'missing' while my backpack was in the 'secure' luggage storage facility & the staff couldn't have cared less. Don't be lured by the cheap rates.... More

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
