Good hotel, excellent location for Museums/Kensington/Harrods. Natural History Museum just across the road. The hotel was clean and the twin room was a good size. Nice big shower and hot water, comfortable beds and I've paid a lot more for a lot worse in London. Lots of restaurants and places to eat within 5 minute walk and the Gloucester Road... More

Just returned from an overnight visit to see The Jersey Boys, a birthday treat for my friend. First impressions of hotel was wow, excellent check in and our room was ready so we were able to go to our room an hour earlier than the stated time. That is when we were dissapointed. We found our room and at first... More

The room we got was quite small but the idea was not to be staying in the hotel room. The breakfast was not included in our price so we had to buy it every morning. Since I love breakfast I rather would have the breakfast included in the price. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel... More

I absolutely LOVE this hotel! I personally adore the neighborhood and the staff is very polite! I'm giving 4 stars because the room is very tiny BUT it had a lovely view of the Natural History's Museum. This is my place to stay in London and I'll never book another hotel there again.

We stayed here on New Year's Eve to watch the fireworks in London. Brilliant location opposite the natural history museum and 10 mins from Harrods. shame there is no parking as we had to pay £50 for 24 hours at the car park the hotel recommended. 2 days before we were due to arrive I thought I had to cancel... I stayed at Eden Plaza last weekend and once again I was not disappointed. For value for money you simply wont beat it. Situated in upmarket Kensington you can enjoy a leisurely stroll to Harrods department store in under 15 minutes. Along the way you can take in all that London has to offer in terms of Michelin star restaurants,... More

Stayed here for a week on a business trip and won't coming back. On arrival I was told the wi-fi didn't need any passwords - this was true for the first day. Next day without any notice you needed a password and on the third the password changed again - with out any notice to customers. Add insult to injury... More

If you're after a clean, well presented and cheap hotel in a good location then you can't go past this one. Yes, the rooms are small, but that's pretty much the standard for any London hotel room. My only issue with the rooms were the very thin walls. We were fortunate enough to be on the top floor at the... More

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
