This was our second stay at the Eden Plaza. The staff are friendly and helpful, the location is wonderful. Near to Kensington Gardens, Natural Science,Victoria and Albert, Science Museums. "Boris " bikes practically outside door, tube and bus transport, close by. Waitrose and Tesco's nearby plus plenty of restaurants and pubs. Some of the rooms are a little small but... More

A nice stay in a moderate, hotel, very close to lots of famous Museums, including the Natural History Museum and the Science Museum. The room we were supposed to stay in had a shower leak so we had to move to another double room. The room as not very big, but good for the price. Breakfast was very good, annoying... More

I booked this hotel primarily for its location, 10 mins away from the Royal Albert Hall. Price-OK. Entrance shouted proud of you what we have. Good flooring, beautiful reception desk, fish tank (nice touch) and key access to use the lift (good for safety) Lift good.....until....you reach the landing. Nice photos clear door numbering, may sound daft, but was good.... More

The Hotel is close to to Tube Stations, easy to find, clean, staff friendly and efficient. Yes, the rooms are small but the price is also small compared to other offerings in the area. Staff friendly.

Hotels in London are expensive and while searching for a hotel we wanted a clean hotel in a central and safe location that would be good enough to spend the night. Location wise, Eden Plaza Hotel is pretty centrally located in Kensington and a short walk to the tube to access any of the sights and adventures London has to... More

Visited 30 June. Room and ensuite bathroom tiny. There was a bath but no plug. When I asked at reception for one, I got the reply above. When I asked why a supposedly reputable hotel was letting rooms with bathrooms and baths, but not allowing their guests to have plugs, I got a dismissive shrug of the shoulders, and a... More

Got a quad family room which had two double beds and a single. Small but smart bathroom and plenty of towels. Breakfast is optional, £7.50 for a basic ur good range of teas, coffees, fruit, toast and cereals. Does what it says very well. 5 mins from Gloucester Road tube serving central london. Would be back.

I recommend this hotel if your going for a holiday in London. Its in the center, few minutes walk from the underground. To eat its not a problem, near the hotel you'll find burger king and kfc and lots of more.Heating is good if you are going in winter. Its a bit of noisy cause its in a main road.... More

It was perfect for me and my wife. We came for a 20th wedding anniversary. Great place and very reasonable prices. Breakfast was great. Staff was very helpful and we will be back there in the future. Location was perfect as well.

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
