It was perfect for me and my wife. We came for a 20th wedding anniversary. Great place and very reasonable prices. Breakfast was great. Staff was very helpful and we will be back there in the future. Location was perfect as well.

We stayed 2 nights at this hotel following recommendations on latebookings.com. We arrived in the late afternoon, weary after a long trip from Ireland, to be greeted by a rather snotty male receptionist, who insisted that we pay upfront for both nights. This we rather regretted once we had seen our cramped room. It literally just fits a double bed... More

Spent one night here and it was a nice enough stay. Very very very small room, it practically just fit the bed in. But it was fair for the value. Really nice bathroom, good pressure on the shower which is important for me, also the shower head was nice and high. It's very close to the underground (5min walk) and... More

I was expecting small but I felt around 5 years old and had to top and tail with my friend as the single beds were placed end to end. But, saying that it was clean and if you are in London for a couple of days and only want somewhere clean to sleep and is a good location then you... More

I visit London 2-3 times a year and have stayed in a number of hotels around the city, the Eden plaza is by far my favorite. +Superbly located from an assortment of attractions and restaurants, as well as two tube stations. More importantly the neighborhood it is located in is amazing and quiet. our room was cozy, clean and quite... More

The rooms are quite small and bathroom is tiny, so the hotel is good for 1-2 nights. The breakfast and WiFi are good. The location is superb. very close to few museums, metro station. Good value for money.

This has got to be one of the worst hotels i've ever stayed in , ok it's Kensington but come on do you really want to climb over you partner to get out of bed and you cannot move in the shower and i'm quite a skinny person, all we could hear all night was the other guests banging around... More

I arrived to a room in the bowels of the earth...dark and unwelcoming. When I complained to a very pleasant man on reception) I was offered another room BUT very small so stayed put. Paper thin walls meant that every conversation, door slamming etc. could be heard. But there's more. When I was asleep around midnight I was woken to... More

I have been a few times in London before and had the chance to check out some hotels in the kensignton area. Eden Plaza looks really nice from he outside and upon entering you'll see a modern, but kinda minimalist style lobby. The corridors upstairs and a rooms are far less modern or stylish. It is a simple, not too... More

Stayed at the Eden Plaza over the weekend with my husband. The room was a twin bedded room which was clean and everything as good as one would expect. The location is excellent. It was a pleasant place to stay and would recommend it.

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
