I've never stayed in such a small room as this one. Really hard to move around. The bathroom was really tiny! It was on the ground floor facing the sidewalk, so it sounded as if was in the middle of the street. Breakfast is average. Internet connection was working properly. The strong point of this hotel is the staff whio... More

Decent location, close to tube stations, good value, clean, staff friendly and helpful. Decor and fittings apart from reception area a bit tired. Breakfast area totally inadequate for the number of guests. The room we were allocated was a bit on the small side but was adequate.

All I can say about this hotel is that it is just okay. It is a place to rest your weary head when you get back from a long day of walking in the streets of London. It is clean and the staff are reasonable. The rooms are tiny. The bathroom is very tiny. The water pressure is very very... More

Friendly, accommodating and convenient for the Underground. Only 7 mins walk. Either Queensway(Central) or Bayswater(Circle). Great local community with an excellent kebab shop over the road and across from The Leinster Arms pub which has a good atmosphere and also serves excellent food. Breakfast in the hotel is continental but loads of it! Several other restaurants around too so loads... More

Fine stay, has the essentials and decent quality/price ratio. The location is nice (close to Hyde Park). The rooms can be a bit stuffy and are not very large, although adequate. The breakfast is simple, for 2,50 pounds extra you get more (i.e. the classic english breakfast). The staff is very helpful and try their best with limited possibilities

Let's put the good things first: + Location; close to Paddington metro & Heathrow Express, Hyde Park, Metros etc + Nice & helpful staff at the front desk + At least lobby is renovated + coffee/tea in the room And then reasons why not to return: - Price / quality (paid 180£ per night) - My room didnt look a... This is one of the worst hotels I've been in. I had to change the room because the first one was noisy (despite the fact that I had requested for a quiet room), cold (They brought me two heaters, and both were not working), small and unconfortable; Not enough, the wi fi did not work, except in the hotels' lobby.... This hotel has indeed great location with easy access to public transport. But, the room was very very small and cramped (maybe that's the norm in London?). The wall is not sound proof, so you might struggle to sleep at night. Breakfast area also very small, I needed to apologized to everyone as I bump into them every single step... More

Finding a comfortable, well located hotel in London for under £100 a night with breakfast in July is one of travel's great challenges. It can't be done I was told by colleagues - you will end up in a rabbits' warren and want out after the first night. True, it did take a lot of research before I discovered the... More

The hotel is in a great location! The staff was extremely nice and helpful. Rooms were good, small and no air conditioning, but most European hotels are like this. Elevator says it can fit 4 people, we could barely squeeze in 3! Overall, nice place! Would stay there again and would recommend.
