Stayed here for 2 nights as a birthday treat from my wife, really nice and quiet and with excellent good old fashioned service from the staff. The room was very spacious and grand, and the breakfast in the morning was the best quality I have had from anywhere. Everything was nice and clean and there was no noise at all... More

Booked cadogan for a long weekend in March, mainly due to its location. The location is brilliant however hotel slightly worn and has a stuffy atmosphere. Our room was in the corner up on the top floor and wow was it small, also no air con meant sleeping with the windows open, and London is a noisy city. That said... More

During the 2012 Olympics I had booked this hotel through SLH . com . I was planned on being gone from the USA for 2 weeks and booked several hotels, flights and transportation. Unfortunately, my mother got sick and went to the hospital and died. I was not able to make the trip (my choice) but wanted to postpone it... More

Loved the old London feel, traditional with touches of modern, excellent location and superb attention to detail. The staff was amazing and such a pleasure staying with the family. Excellent location with gorgeous private garden access

The staff here is really nice and helpful. A great feature of this hotel is access to the private park across the street. This is especially nice if you are traveling with children. Also, the hotel is in a great location. Close to lots of great restaurants and very quiet at night. The hotel needs a major renovation. Carpet is... More

By and large one does get what one pays for but the Cadogan is not ridiculously expensive and yet manages to exude charm and character. The rooms are not large but the furnishings interesting although there are modern touches such as the flat screen TV. The location is excellent for Knightsbridge and shops with access to the tube and buses... More

I stayed in the single room for one night. It is a nice hotel and the room was as expected. It was warm at the time and their solution was a ridiculously noisy free standing air conditioner next to the TV. Since the room is so tiny, the noise was overwhelming and couldn't be left on if I wanted to... More

First impression of this hotel was fantastic due to location, impressive lobby and professionally trained staff. However we can't say much about their rooms. We booked 3 rooms in total, the carpet is very dirty as there are marks all over, the bed is very basic, not very comfortable. We asked for an additional bed and it was like a... More

Like many such London B&Bs, there's a bit of history about The Cadogan, but ultimately a lot more is needed and expected to make one';s stay memorable. The room was spacious enough with a lovely quaint bath room and tub, the view of the park/square a typical London vista, but there was just a sense that it had seen better... More

The staff is perfect, they do anything to make you feel home, anytime of the day or night! The building is lovely, the decor is stunning, although you can feel it's old age, but this is what makes it so beautiful. This is absolutely how a French guest like me pictures of UK, this is what I want to see... More

Staying in Chelsea

Neighborhood Profile
Wealth courses through The King's Road, Chelsea's upmarket artery of West London life packed with shops, eateries and glitzy nightspots. For people-watching at its best and luxury retail therapy that's largely unrivalled, this area cannot be missed. But if this showy street starts to overwhelm or a moment of price tag shock sends you reeling, a quick detour down pretty much any of many King's Road veins will reveal a quieter side of Chelsea. Here the stately Royal Hospital hosts its world-famous flower show, and the Thames rolls along at a lazy pace, with leafy Battersea Park and its Peace Pagoda beckoning from across the river.
