We enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The frontage and reception is good. Typical London. We were in the budget rooms in the basement. A little worrying when we went down and saw the corridors. The room was basic, but clean, and everything was there that one needs. In short, we were happy bearing in the price we paid. Would... More

The location of Bayswater Inn is very good, many places nearby to eat and good transport links. It is located in a nice, upmarket area. We were told that there were only single beds meaning we had to push two together. The room was somewhat outdated but the sheets and overall cleanliness were to an acceptable standard. It was a... Reception staff very efficient and polite. Booked a quiet room and was put on top floor next to noisy lift. Beds were very noisy but comfortable. Couldn't have a shower as the water pressure was too low and we were told this room had just been refurbished. The television signal was intermittent. In the morning at breakfast the staff were... Reception area not to bad, but the bedrooms were very basic. Good only for one night, wouldn't stay longer than that. Bathrooms cleanliness could be better. Staff were friendly and hotel is situated close to all amenities.

Yes, it is expensive. This is London and Bayswater Inn always have the best prices compared to every other London zone 1 hotel. Hostels charge more. Bayswater Inn never lets me down on price. It is my secret little gem, I am not even sure why I am promoting it and making more people aware of it. The reception staff... More

Arrived Saturday 10th January......excellent first impressions, outside area looked good, reception lovely, staff very friendly and professional. We were on the first floor. O.k. So the décor was poor, the carpet needed replacing, the bathroom was desperate for a refurb., but.......the bedding, towels and bathroom were spotlessly clean (apart from some mould on bathroom ceiling). We had everything needed...a hairdryer,... More

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighborhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighborhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
