Terrible place, I booked this hotel for one night only as I had a stop in London in my way to Spain. I got a room on the basement, when I came out of the lift I was on shock, carpet was very dirty (and stayed like that the whole time), corridor on bad conditions, paint and carpets need to... More

We stayed in this hotel for about a week. We didn´t expect much since we got it for a very good price. You get what you pay for and not very much more or less. The breakfast isn´t the best I have tasted, so we went out for a bite instead. The hotel was good for what we where doing,... More

After reading many of the reviews we were a bit worried about what we were going to experience, but as it was one of the cheapest options we risked it, and was pleasantly surprised! The room we were given was very small, literally a double bed and a dresser, but the bathroom was a decent size and tbf it was... More

Shabby small room, windows not lockable, beds uncomfortable, smelly, they forgot to service room, limited breakfast hot food was sausage tomato mushroom & sad scrambled eggs every day no other options, tinned fruit only poor quality breakfast. But nice foyer. Not cheap. Overrun with tour group at breakfast.

This hotel has two parts. Some rooms nave been recently renovated - upper floors and are not bad. However, the old rooms - we stayed in the basement, are simply disgusting. Everything very old, falling aprat and covered with stains, fungus and who knows what else. We asked to chnage the room, but were forced to stay for a night... More

The location of the room were like in catacombs with a window to no where. Every things crashing and following apart. Wall paper drop of the walls. Noise of the water of upper rooms dropping by the walls.

Me and my fiancée decided to stay here for 2 nights but we didn't even stay 1 night as the hotel is that bad. We booked a double room and what we got was a single room with a double bed pushed up against the wall so only one of you can get out. 1 lift for the whole hotel... More

Me and my boyfriend stayed here after my birthday night out. We had a pleasant stay, the room was well sized, the bathroom was small but everything was in working order and presentable. We stayed on the basement floor right at the end so it's sounds like we had a good room compared to other reviews. The breakfast had a... More

Stayed for three nights in February 2015 with my Mum & sister for our little London trip. Great location, literally just a quick walk to the tube station. Staff were lovely - no complaints, there. Our room was ok - nothing to shout about but not awful. Three single beds were comfortable enough although bedding very thin. Breakfast was fine,... More

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighborhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighborhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
