The room we were given resembled a nazi prison camp mould up the walls and a hole in the wall. The staff moved us to another room but that was no better this one had a shower that looked like it as from ww1. Never again! When you go in you think it's a quiet nice with a clean lobby... More

The room was extremely tiny. We had a double bed and it occupied 90% of the room. On my side of the bed I had less than 6 inches between the wall and the bed. At the foot of the bed there was about 2 feet of space. On my wife's side there was about 3.5 feet but this also... More

my friend and I stayed for 3 nights and it was great We had no problems whatso ever. It was a twin room, clean and fresh with nice bathroom. I believe it was newly decorated because apart from our section of the floor most of the others floors looked tired. So maybe its in a refit? Breakfast was canteen like.... More

I would prefer to spend a week at the Bates Motel than the Baywater Inn. This is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. We came here for 3 nights during our trip through Europe. We would have been better off camping out in a train station. They put us in a room on the basement level... More

Hotel was near to my venue, on the down side when i made the reservation a few days before i was passed between 5 different people to complete my request. I asked for a double and after taking over half hour to check in because they didnt tell... More

Where to start! Initially we didn't think the hotel was too bad. As we arrived early the reception staff checked our bags in so that we didn't have to carry them around all day.. The reception area looks modern and clean. We arrived back at the hotel at 8pm surprised to see a large number of loud, European teens drinking... More

We booked 2 double rooms for one night via www.Hotelsdirect.com as we were going to see a show at the Royal Albert Hall. We have used various hotels in and around this area and know it reasonably well. I believe now that we paid too much for the rooms based on what I have seen since, but that is more... More

Myself and my Girlfriend stayed in the Bayswater Inn for my 21st birthday getaway. Three nights stay for a very good price. We were keen on seeing the majority of the sights rather than spending time in the hotel. Upon arrival the sat where welcoming and helpful, they had changed the check in time from 12:00 to 15:00 which we... More

The entrance is amazing and the rooms are not as wow factor as the foyer but what do you expect? It is a budget priced central hotel, the rooms on the 4th floor have been updated and are quite modern, the shower is either very hot or cold so needs attention but all in all its a great friendly budget... Staying in Notting Hill

Neighborhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighborhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
