The hotel is a short taxi ride from Euston which cost around £15. Reception area is very clean, bright and modern. Our room was small but adequate for our one night stay. Reception staff were very pleasant and helpful. Good choice of food for breakfast. The only thing that we would advise against is booking a taxi directly through reception.... More

We spent our easter holiday in london. The hotel is nice only at the reception area, if you are "lucky" tp be accomodated at second floor in room 222 you will have london experience night mare. The fire alarm started for two nights at 01:00 am, followed by the terrible noise from the heating system. The carpet from the hallway... More

I'm going to start this review by saying that if you're looking for a gem of a hotel or the nature of your getaway is a few days of romance - then you should probably not look at this hotel. Myself and my partner got a good deal on Expedia for £49.50 for the night. It is though - a... More

The reception and public areas were good and welcoming. The corridors and the room was a different matter. Clean room but very dated. Think Burkina in the sixties. The paintwork on the walls was rag rolled. A technique I haven't seen since the eighties. Breakfast was good though and the hotel was in a convenient area

This hotel is the worst place that I have ever stayed in! Do not be fooled by the cool clean reception area, which definitely gives a false impression of what lies behind the hotel lobby. The rooms were disgusting, with mold on the walls and wallpaper hanging off. The bathroom looked liked to was straight off the set of trainspotting!... More

I stayed for one night at this hotel with my husband and we thought it was good value for money. The hotel was modern, clean and the staff were friendly. There was also a cooked breakfast on offer which surprised us as we only expected continental. Our room was modern, small but adequate enough for a short stay. We've stayed... More

Stayed at this wonderful hotel with my partner and we loved it. The room was especially clean and comfortable bed too. Bathroom was amazing and we even had little shampoos and body washes and shower caps :-) also a hair dryer in the room too. The hotel is in a quiet square overlooking a greenery and its only round the... More

The room we were given resembled a nazi prison camp mould up the walls and a hole in the wall. The staff moved us to another room but that was no better this one had a shower that looked like it as from ww1. Never again! When you go in you think it's a quiet nice with a clean lobby... More

The room was extremely tiny. We had a double bed and it occupied 90% of the room. On my side of the bed I had less than 6 inches between the wall and the bed. At the foot of the bed there was about 2 feet of space. On my wife's side there was about 3.5 feet but this also... More

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighborhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighborhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
