The smallest en suite single room I have ever stayed in, however, the room was clean, quiet with kettle, hairdryer & tv. A buffet style breakfast served in a multi purpose entrance/reception area was basic but good enough. An exellent location nr to Bayswater & Queensway tube station & a 10 min walk from Kensington Palace, good cloice of local... More

The website was misleading. The hotel was under major refurbishment, and the first room I was shown was so filthy and run down that I insisted on being shown a different room, which, if anything, was worse. Wifi would have cost ten pounds and was only available in the lobby which, again, was under refurbishment. The staff was uninterested in... More

When I booked this place I was swayed by the photos on the website, it looked beuatiful. When I got there I soon found that the photos had been taken elsewhere. This dump has NEVER looked like the photos, it is a former old people's home or penitentiary or dose house that is slowly being refurbished to hostel standard. The... More

Genuinely can not complain about this hotel for what we used it for. Short London break in which we wanted to squeeze in what we could. Location of hotel meant we could pack as much in as possible without worrying about needing to trip back to the hotel when we wanted. Basic hotel HOWEVER clean and tidy. We had a... More

Very basic and simple hotel. Concidering the prices for acommodation in London, it offers grate value for the money - not expensive, but super location. The metro station just within short walk, also the Hyde park for a nice running round. Nothing Hill also almoust just around the corner. If you like to walk, it is walkable even till Picadilly... The hotel appeared to be in the process of being renovated. I stayed on the 1st floor & it was in need of modernisation & renovations. The beds were well worn & the shower in the bathroom was defective. However, a bath was never a problem, the room was clean & it had some old Regent style charm. I was... More

Basic, simple hotel. Good for one or two nights. Good location, 3 minutes walk to Bayswater underground station. Small reception with some seating, a vending machine and breakfast room opposite. Lift to all floors. No restaurant but an in room dining menu. Very good choice of restaurants within 5 minute walk. My twin room was fairly small but adequate with... More

We booked this hotel for 6 nights before we had looked at the reviews.... yes I know, stupid. So after reading these reviews, I was quickly on the phone to the travel agent, asking to change our hotel. We had brought an early bird package and couldn't get a refund. So, we accepted it and just hoped we would have... More
